Upgradelights® Amber Replacement Glass Banker's Shade

If you have the real, original, vintage lamp spend the extra money. I can't tell the difference between this and the original in color or quality.I could not bring myself to pay $300 odd dollars for a replacement shade but all I saw on line were cheapcopies.Finally, after 3 years, found a good affordable replacement.Now I can spend the next 3 years trying to get the shade on the lamp, I swear it takes a Theoretical Physicist and a Master Electrician to figure it out.

This product arrived fairly quickly, had no defects, and I was able to install it without difficulties. I did have to fashion new rubber bushings from automotive products (half-expected a set would come with the shade), but that was not difficult either. The yellow color was a new direction, as I had never seen a shade like this in use, and it turns out to be a very pleasant, soft yellow that complements the room.

Toppled and broke the shade on my years old bankers lamp. Would have done it sooner if I'd known about this shade. Nice quality glass and perfect fit. Opaque white interior helps focus light downward on rolltop desktop, while the amber gold color is beautiful when lighted and casts a warm glow outward. Color is displayed accurately online. Much happier with this than the "seethrough" frosted shade that came with the lamp. Very rich looking.

I broke the green glass shade on my Banker's Lamp and decided to try amber as a replacement. I really like the warm glow which the green shade didn't have. Size was perfect and my husband was able to figure out all the screws, washers, etc. in order to get it on the lamp! Very pleased with this product.

My daughter broke my previous desk lamp shade so I had to find a replacement. This shade is not only beautiful it is very thick/strong. She won't be able to break this one. The price was just right and the shipping ( although a little high) amounted to what I would have paid at my local hardware store as well.

I wasn't sure this would fit my floor lamp which someone tipped over and smashed at a party, but this one fit perfectly. A bit of a hassle to take all the lamp components apart, but once you do, it fits very snuggly in place, as intended.

When the green glass shade on my banker's light broke, I expected to replace it with an identical shade, but then I saw this one. The amber color is gorgeous and looks much better in the room than the green one did. There were no installation instructions, but I found a very helpful YouTube video and managed just fine.

Delivered nice and fast. Old shade broke, the new shade is not 'finished' on the bottom, around the rim, it's like a rough cut, not ground down and shaped. But it's good enough for what I needed quickly
