8 year old loves it in his room. Very bright!
My 8 year old son wanted a clock in his room. I saw this one and gave it a try. So far, we are to disappointed. It is pretty large which makes it easy to read. It has a USB plus that we plugged right into the wall. In addition, it takes AAA batteries which are supposed to back it up in the case of a power outage. We have not experienced a loss of power since plugging it in, so I'm not sure if the backup works yet or not. Right now we just have it on his dresser across from his bed. It has a stand in the back...like a picture frame...which allows you to set it on a table. It also has holes in the back for mounting on the wall. Our plan is to eventually mount it on a wall caddy corner from his bed. It even came with screws for mounting. We both love the brightness of the clock. It is a pretty blueish color. In addition, a nightlight is no longer needed because the clock puts out enough light. If you do not like brightness while you sleep, this clock is to for you. My only suggestion for improvement would be that it shows the day of the week instead of the date.

It’s big and bright and accurate!
Update 19 Apr 2020: I finally found a reason to order another one of these, this time in blue. I wanted to run the power cable through stick-on plastic conduit (see my picture of the blue clock). The cable was far too short for this so I cobbled together a longer power supply.I used a SoulBay power supply (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N7RS0NG) with the included terminal tip along with a 10’ extension cable (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B081CTVY5Z). I cut the end off the DreamSky power cable (leaving about 3” of cable) and connected it to the terminal tip (which is attached to the extension cable). The wire with the white stripe is positive so that gets connected to the positive terminal.Once I connected the DreamSky tip to the new power supply (via the terminal tip and extension cable) I switched the power supply to 9V and plugged it into the wall. Before powering the clock I double-checked the voltage and polarity with a multimeter. The end of the extension cable and terminal tip did fit in the extra large compartment thoughtfully provided by DreamSky but just barely.I’m just as happy with the blue clock as I am with the red one. I don’t know why I love these clocks so much but they make me happy. No, I’m not being compensated for my review, I’m just weird lolUpdate 13 Jan 2020: The clock has worked flawlessly for the last year. It adjusted from standard time to DST and back again on the correct dates. It's been unplugged a couple of times but the backup batteries (not included) did their job. Finally, it's still as gloriously bright as the day it arrived on my doorstep.Original review: I'm tired of clock mechanisms breaking in analog clocks so I decided to go digital. I wasn't sure what I would get when I ordered this clock. The photoshopped product pictures showed red numbers (and a clock that appears to be 4-6' across) but the customer pictures were of an LCD clock. I'm happy to report that the numbers are red...bright red. The clock is perfect in my garage (which is why the walls are all beat up in the picture I uploaded). The manual is missing a few details. Pushing the "up" button switches between 12- and 24- hour mode. Pushing the "down" button switches between Fahrenheit and Celsius. These functions are on the buttons themselves but hard to see (small raised black text on black buttons). I've never seen drywall anchors like those included. Presumably a hole needs to be drilled first because they can't be hammered directly into drywall (trust me on this). I ended up using a drywall anchor I had on hand.I'm very happy with this clock and think it's a good value. The clock is all numbers which is exactly what I wanted...I don't care to waste space on decorative nonsense. The numbers are large and bright...have I said "bright" enough yet?I'm willing to bet someone will ask so here's the answer: no, the numbers don't dim. Why would you want to dim such a gloriously bright clock?P.S. Backup batteries not included.

Nice & Bright!
I was looking for a large clock for my garage when I ultimately settled on this one. I was a little unsettled by the price, but decided to give it a shot anyway, since all of the analog wall clocks are either too small or too expensive. In the end, I wound up with two of these clocks, and I really like them. They have very straight-forward setup, free standing or wall mount option, and the display is large, crisp, clear, and easy to see from quite a distance. The only improvements I would suggest is the ability to dim the display at various levels for those who want to use one in a bedroom, and also having an upgraded atomic clock version. That said, I am very happy with the two I purchased.

Easy to setup
So I just received the product yesterday. I set up the time and date with ease. The only part that was confusing was the year wasn't displayed correctly. Somehow, it shows a weird number that looks between a 4 and another number. It's quite bizarre. Otherwise, I would say there's nothing hard about this. This comes with 3 screws, a small template on the placements of where you need to mark your wall if you decide to mount it, also 3 screw sleeves which I don't know what the purpose is, maybe helps to keep the screw in place on the wall??? Also instructions and the power cord along with the clock itself. Otherwise it could be used as a stand up time which is convenient, but, like many others. I choose to mount it on the wall as it's quite large. I raised it quite high so that if someone were to sleep in the living room, the light wouldn't be a bother. You could set it to military time or just do the 12 hr am/pm setting. The display is 14.5" so it's quite massive. Very easy to read, even looking at it from an angle. I can read the time and date, the one thing that need to be improved is the ability to control the brightness and it would be nice to a have the entire year displayed instead of a weird number when setting it up. Cause you only could control the last 2 digits of the year, which may be fine for a long time. So that's a minor thing. You could place 2 AAA batteries on the back side so that when your power goes out, when power is restored or you unplugged it and plug it back in. It saves the time for you so you don't have to adjust again. That's a nifty feature. Other than that, no complaints.

Love this Clock
Without my glasses I can't see my hand in front of my face. I was do tired of when I would wake in the middle of the night I would have to search for my glasses to see what time it was. Not any more. This close is bold and bright and actually also replaces a night light as it provides enough light to walk thru the room without turning on the lights. Reasonably priced. GREAT PURCHASE!!!!!
