Z-Plus Torch Flame Lighter Insert

Yea you can buy cheap jet lighters but they are "cheap" . The flame of the Z-Plus when adjusted to a narrow single flame half the height of the one in the photo (try that with the cheapo) is perfect to light my small pipe. There is no interference from the Zippo lid and absolutely no heat on my fingers. Very little is needed to ignite the tiny amount I put in my pipe so little fuel is used. At this rate of fuel consumption the lighter will not need filled as often either. Coupled with the Zippo logo Spectrum case this is not only the finest flame of any lighter I have ever had but the most beautiful case as well. The experience of operating this lighter is quite pleasurable aside from whats in the bowl. Total for case and insert is $31.50 incl. tx and shipping. Worth the price as this beauty is not only functional but unique. This is a great lighter even without the case. I use it like that at home but install it in the case when going out. The trigger has a quality feel, firm and smooth. The case fits in your hand and can be gripped firmly.

Works like a dream with premium butane. I can recommend Colibri but there are other tripleI'd bought the Zippo-branded insert and Zippo fuel first but no amount of bleeding/adjustments helped. Useless. This baby was Plan B, which got filled from my full can of Zippo butane, and got the same results as Plan A. The eventually successful Plan C switched-up the fuel. I went with Colibri because it's sold everywhere and I have no patience. Guess tf what? I've now got two most excellent butane Zippos. I love it when a plan comes together.

This arrived 2hrs b4 the matte red zippo I ordered came in. So I thought I'd fill it with butane and try it out. It wouldn't light. Multiple trigger pushes it'd finally light, but not stay on. I assumed it was defective.The zippo arrived I put the insert in anyway (had nothing to lose) and it worked perfectly. Not sure why it didn't work initially, but once it's put in the zippo it works as advertised. I'm not a smoker, but have the need for a flame to test heat sensors at work, melting paracord and melting the ends of these no tie shoe laces.this zippo insert is perfect for those uses. Also, preppers should have 1 of these in there bug out bag. Even campers should have 1.

I've got a few (actual) Zippo lighters, some years old, some only a few months. The insert itself is great, SUPER LONG FUEL STORAGE, reliable electro-piezo ignition system, good sized torch flame... but sometimes the 'arm' doesn't fully engage the lid of the Zippo when you open it... which isn't a problem in itself... but when closing the lid the insert sometimes rises up out of the Zippo casing about 3-4cm, making it a pain to close fluidly without some subtle and well timed index finger repositioning. Works PERFECTLY on one of my Zippos, has the 'rising' issue another two, one of which is only a week old. Overall still a great product. 1 star deduction for taking the so-well-known Zippo 'click' and undermining it.

Nice snug fit, easy to read fluid level, easy to re-fill,lights fast. Other brand also fit well but has failed in the other catagories.

Worked fine on the first fill-up, although it was a very, very tight fit in my standard Zippo case. I had to use two pliers to get it out for the second fill-up. It took the gas with no problem but then failed to light. Gas was coming through the port and the igniter sparked, but no flame. Tried adjusting the valve through its entire range. No joy. Filled another insert from the same gas can and it worked. UPDATE: Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the gas diffuser in the ignition chamber was missing. Apparently it came loose and fell out during the wrestling match I had with the insert. I found it on the floor, reseated it as best I could, purged and refilled the insert. Voila, fire. I bumped up the review to 2 stars, but stand by the POS assessment: the insert does not fit the Zippo case properly and I have zero confidence the diffuser will stay in place (and the next time it comes out, I may not be as lucky locating it as I was this time)

【レビュー2回目】 もともと使用していた古いジッポーのケースに本ユニット組み合わせて使用していました。 が、そのライターを紛失してしまい、新しいケースと本ユニットを再度購入しました。 ケースは安物ですがZippoブランド品。 ところが、ジッポー蓋を開けると、「カシャン!」というジッポ特有の開閉音がしない。 通常下に倒れるカムが途中で止まってしまい、結果、蓋が閉まらない。 30分ほど素人なりに色々やってみましたが、結果、 ・もともと使用していたオイルジッポーのカムと交換 ・リッドの中のコの字の仕切りパーツを狭めに調整 上記の作業でようやく普通に使えるようになりました。 本品のカムの形、微妙に純正と違います。また軽いです。 そのあたり関係するのかも知れませんし、個体差が若干あるのかも知れません。 --------------------------------------------------------------------- 【レビュー1回目】 本商品の購入までは、「ガス注入式のターボライター」の商品選びが非常に難しくて困っていました。 安いものはとにかくチープなつくりで短期間で壊れる、高いものはサイズが大きく、デザインやギミックが大袈裟で鬱陶しい。 そんなところにジッポのアーマーを利用する本商品をたまたま見つけ購入に至りました。 もともと所有していたジッポライターは、結局はメンテや頻繁なオイル注入が面倒で長年使用していませんでした。 火付き非常に良いです。持ちもオイルに比べて長く、ガス注入作業も十数秒で非常に楽です。 指が汚れることもありません。 火力の調整は個体差があるのかもしれません。 「火力が弱い」というレビュー散見しましたが、私の場合、最大にすると10cmほどの火柱が上がり危険なレベルです。 ということで一番弱い設定にしています。弱い設定でも十分です(動画参照)。 買ってよかった商品です。 あとはどれくらい長持ちしてくれるかというところでしょうか。

Thought it didnt fit properly as lid wouldnt close. All you need to do is bend the little tab slighrly further back on the inside of the zippo lid case. Fits like a glove then. Time will tell how long it lasts.

私のzippoにはジャストフィットでした。ただ少々、火力が強すぎる感がします。
