I love this light board (more like a pad)😊 I was used to the old light box..(actual wooden box) Big and bulky and usually on my lap. With my new desk I wanted something that could sit on top. It is so light, USB so it can be plugged into a portable charger if you need to travel with it or just want it portable to take with you. It does not charge by being plugged in just to clarify.. It needs to plugged into a power source to work. It's nice and bright. And As an artist Im using it constantly to improve on my art. I did get a little sharpie on it but hand sanitizer on a soft cloth took it off. I keep a thick plastic mat from IKEA to protect the surface when it's not in use and i use transparency film between my paper as not to get ink on the board ir my other art underneath. It was recommended to me by the tattoo artist I go to. She had just purchased hers and loved it. I hope this helps someone considering it. It works great!

Well, it's a light box; it's pretty light, it lights, things up, and it's roughly in a box shape. None of that is misleading.If I could turn back the hands of time, I would have read through the reviews to see that it doesn't charge, and that it has to be plugged into something USB to make the magic happen. Sometimes you take the whole USB thing for granted, because, well, other than this light box, what's something that is USB that isn't inherently chargeable? Exactly.That gripe aside, this is a pretty sweet light box. It's got a nice form factor, it has nice and even lighting, and the light shows through some decently weighted paper. I'd totally buy this light box a drink if I saw it at a bar.

My daughter has been begging me for months to get her a light board so after researching a little I decided to buy this one for her but I'm keeping it for Christmas. I of course had to take it out and give it a test drive first, and make sure it works right and will suit her needs. I think she is going to love it. It is a really nice size, plenty big enough for any of the paper she normally uses to draw on. The light is really bright, and I like that you can actually adjust it lower if you don't need as much light. It is light weight and easy to carry around with you. It does need to be plugged in to work. Got it for my art room (I’m an art teacher) the thing stopped turning on after 4 months. The charging port was to flimsy so the charger wouldn’t stay in, but even when it did the pad would not turn on. Super annoying. Also it came in the wrong box. The box claimed it was one that could be rechargeable but that wasn’t the case.

This thing came apart within 6 months but by being extremely careful I was able to finish my project. I put it away until today (24 months after purchase) and when I plugged it in, the unit came apart, the wires broke off. So, I know I'm past warranty bur wanted to give others a heads up.

Looks great, but flickers unless in full bright mode. Don't see any other reviews stating this problem, so perhaps mine is the only one. Not usable in less than full bright mode. Perhaps this is a problem with dimming LED's as I have heard of this in other products. Would not buy again, but I'll keep it unless it quits completely.

This is a great tool for artists like me. I have been looking for the right kind of lightbox for years. This Litup light pad is wonderful. The light it provides for tracing outlines and for drawing shapes in the correct size, as well as perspective, is amazing. I have already completed three special drawings with which this light pad proved essential.It's light weight is ideal for portability and it's slim measurements make it easier to place in my art studio than a cumbersome heavy light box. I am so thrilled at purchasing the B4 and look forward to creating new art projects and drawings which I would have been unable to do.The customer service is wonderful, too, and the light pad was delivered very quickly. It was easy to set up and I began drawing with it within ten minutes of opening the package. I heartily recommend the purchasing of this light pad to all artists. :)

I gave this to my son for Christmas and he loves it. COmes in handy with all kinds of school projects and is easier to use than the standard box light we already had. You must plug this into a computer to supply the power to light it up but since we have laptops its no issue. Plenty bright, easy to carry and easy to store. Overall we are very happy with this product.
