This is my 1st ever experience using a grip on a camera (a7iii) and could not be happier with it. I've used this vertical grip on several shoots over the past couple of months and love it. I had never used a vertical grip before but wanted to try something that was inexpensive and I'm glad I did. The grip fits perfectly on my A7iii camera body, the custom functions work flawlessly and the outer skin matches that of the Sony body itself. There are only two down sides, however they are very minor in my opinion. First, the grip adds a bit of size and weight to a small and light mirrorless body. For me, this is fine for my portrait sessions and weddings, but I won't use the grip when taking the camera on trips. Second, while using the battery grip in portrait orientation I find it difficult to reach the joystick and control wheel with my thumb even though I have large hands with long fingers. Again, not a deal breaker but something worth noting. In my view, the product quality looks and feels top notch. I am very happy with the product and the item was shipped within the time frame I was quoted with the item new in the box. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to save some money as an alternative to the Sony branded grip.

This group is very well made and has been working flawlessly with my 7aiii. I have my camera set to back focus and the AEL on the grip works for back focus as well!! It shows the battery life of both batteries on the screen. It also feels really good in my hand and I am a woman with medium to smallish hands. I have yet to find any negative issues with the scrip nor have I seen any battery drain while it's powered off. I would recommend this group over the Sony grip, the quality is great and the price is even better!

I didn’t want to spend so much on a grip but when I go out to shoot I’d like to know if my battery dies I don’t have to worry so I decided to give this a try. It fits very nicely to my Sony a7riii and everything works nicely. It feels great in my hand and looks good on my camera. I did play with it a little bit at home to test it all out and honestly I was very happy with it fairly quickly. It came on time and nicely packaged. I absolutely love it and would definitely recommend it.

it's all hard plastic, the ergonomics are great, the buttons work, the product works but for a fully plastic product, at THIS price, I really expected some of the rubbery coating to match the camera

I waited and searched over and over again about this battery grip for my Sony A7Riii because of all the reviews I read that it doesn’t fit right with this model camera. Well it sure fits well on my A7Riii. I’m very happy with this grip and the fact that it is made by Sony is even better. Sometimes you got to roll the dice and see for yourself, I’m glad I did!

This is a must-have for any photographer. It makes it so much easier to shoot with the camera and allows me to be more creative with my shots. It's also versatile and I can use it for both portrait and landscape shooting. I love that it is easy to use and has all of the features I need, including multi battery use.

I’ve been a pro photographer in San Francisco for 50 years, and recently switched to a Sony A7III. I ordered a Mcoplus Professional Vertical Battery Grip from Amazon and it came next day. First surprise was that the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The grip attaches tightly to my Sony A7III with no play or gaps between body and grip, and the skin pattern matches seamlessly the camera. It takes one or two NP-FZ100 batteries that snap firmly in place, a welcome power extension for a full day job. I started testing all the controls in the grip and they perfectly activate the correct commands in the camera, aperture, shutter speed, viewing etc. It makes camera handling much better because it has a much more substantial grip, and the buttons are in ergonomically correct placement, and the camera feels more balanced, specially with heavy long lenses, what makes it very comfortable to shoot vertically with the well placed shutter button. It also has an additional lug for the strap in case you want to attach the camera to hang vertically. I am very surprised that the grip exceeds my expectations, specially at the very reasonable price point. I can strongly recommend the Mcoplus grip, you wont be disappointed.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, anche se è un oggetto fatto in plastica (ma di buona fattura) è un oggetto solido con una ottima presa. Si sa che l'originale Canon è fatto di lega di magnesio (come la 5d mk ii) e quindi è normale trovarlo a quasi 300 euro nuovo ma per quasi 40 euro si può prendere questo oggetto molto valido anche se è di plastica. Il suo lo fa e bene anche, tanto quello che serve è la possibilità di avere più durata di batteria, con 2 batterie lp-e6 danno la possibilità di scattare dai 1500 ai 1700 scatti con il mirino e dai 360 ai 400 scatti in Live View, (anche se in realtà penso che nessuno farà più di 200-400 foto in un giorno) e la possibilità di fare foto in verticale con una presa migliore e con più stabilità.

At the price this is good value. It seems well-made and fits perfectly. The internal battery pack retaining clips look a potential weak point, but if care is taken when inserting and removing batteries I expect they will be fine. At a fraction of the cost of a Canon grip I am pleased with the quality.
