Good for plantar faciatis
Very comfortable to wear. excellent for my plantar faciatis! They hold my foot just right and have been preventing the faciatis pain . I do wear them along with my orthotic most of the time. But if i have shoes the orthotic does not fit i can wear the shoe anyway with just this sock and not have the foot pain

Pretty Good Socks
I'd been having issues with, among other areas, the TOPS of my feet. These socks don't feel restrictive at all. They're very comfortable, they seem to be stopping the tops of my feet from hurting when I'm on the treadmill, so I've recently been able to start picking up the pace a little again on that.I wear a size 11 shoe and sneaker predominantly. It seems Reebok is an exception, or had been as a size 10 and 1/2 fit me best, but Nike and other shoes size 11 is my prevailing size ANYWAY I read other reviews and the advice given inadvertently or otherwise: the verdict was that I learned from my purchase is that with a size 11 shoe in mind a Medium in this sock was PERFECT. I am almost completely satisfied with this product. I have 'some' concerns about the durability right now. How long they're going to last is the question in my mind upon examining the construction of these socks inside and out. They're VERY nice, don't get me wrong, but 18 bucks + tax maybe (depending on the state you live in) + shipping costs (if you're not an Amazon Prime -shipping cost included- customer) over $20 If they hold up I'll definitely buy at least one more pair. These are great, really; but are they going to last? I can't comment on that for sure yet. They don't look to me like they're going to. I hope I'm wrong.

Love these socks
Had them for years. They are the best short socks I have ever owned. They hold up extremely well. I'm a bigger person and never an issue.

Sizing is Wrong?
From experience in similar products, I ordered the Medium size, even though the manufacturer advises my foot should be the size large (I'm a women's 11 shoe in length, but my foot is narrow and skinny and shallow and nearly flat). These socks upon arrival were obviously, at first glance, at least a LARGE size, not a Medium as stated on the package. I have decades of experience in socks sizes for men, women and children, and these are at least a mens' regular 10-13 sock size (not shoe size, sock size). But just in case I was wrong, I tried one on my size 11 woman's foot and they are huge... the fit is loose and sloppy and there is no compression at all, the heel of the sock easily extends well past my actual foot's heel. Therefore, I cannot comment on their effectiveness in providing compression and arch support.Because a number of other Reviewers have mentioned the problem with the fit/sizing of these Sox products, I can only assume that the socks are often mis-packaged, perhaps because people return them in the wrong packaging? The socks themselves have no label in or on them to identify the size; the size is only on the packaging, and the sock itself must be "eyeballed" or actually measured to determine the size.I would have liked to try them in the proper Medium size but I do not trust the packaging/sizing and it's not worth the time and aggravation to re-order and possible return.

They are worth it
I have several versions of this sock, both in colour and in cuff length, including a knee high one. They support my feet very well, I feel I don't really need my orthotics any more. I don't have plantar fasciitis, and never did, so I can't comment on that. They keep well, I have had them for pretty much a year now, and they are just as supportive. I never put them in the dryer, they dry very fast, a plus when you are hiking and need them dry the following morning. I use the tall one for flights, much more comfortable that the "varicose vein" socks, and just as good to prevent ankle swelling. They are quite expensive, but worth it.

Great socks, but nothing like real plantar fasciitis support
I can't see any reason to call these plantar fasciitis socks. The don't seem to have any greater compression than ordinary socks, certainly nothing like compression sleeves or socks. But they're very comfortable for hiking. No bunching under the ball or toes. Feel uniform across the foot. Dry quickly. Wick moisture away. If they were offered without the plantar fasciitis claim, I'd give them five stars. In fact, I'm looking to see whether they have a version with a higher ankle--the top is a little too low for my boots.

Thicker is better!
Great socks! I just wish my foot was half an inch longer so the sock doesn't crumple up in the front. I'm a size 7 and ordered a medium. Next time I will order a small.

Perform as promised.
Wonderful fit. I even wear them at night occasionally as they alleviate foot cramps. They fit with my dress shoes so I can wear the black ones without looking like I'm wearing sweat socks. I have several pairs and glad I bought multiples. Very durable.

Disappointed
Just a slightly tighter fit than a regular ankle sock. Would not recommend purchasing if you need real support. Also, material not wearing well... Balling up at heel area after only one wearing.
