I purchased this to protect my hot pink hair from chlorine and sun while in the pool with my small herd of children. My hair is very short and only pink on top. The cap kept the top of my hair dry, but the back and sides were wet, not that it bothered me, but I can see how it would be frustrating. As an added bonus, it helped muffle the constant shouts of "mom! Look at me!!!" As for the smell that others have mentioned, it is quite pungent. My eldest darling commented on it and decided it was bad enough to not want anymore rides from me! Yet another bonus!!!! As for the looks, I think it's hilarious. My mom said I look like her mom. My brother in law told me he would be sitting far away from me on the family beach trip. I gotta say, the extra features (muffled screams, child repelling odor, and family block) should really be mentioned in the product description! As a side note, cats will not wear the swim cap.

I’ve had this cap for several weeks now and have used it about a dozen times. I am immensely pleased with it. It is very pretty, in a retro sort of feminine way. It didn’t keep my hair 100% bone-dry underwater during laps, although I wouldn’t expect that of any swim cap. When I took the cap off it was a bit damp around the back edges only, everything from about an inch in was dry. I have pastel-dyed hair so protecting it from the chlorinated water is important. This did great.Other reviewers have commented on the smell of the cap. I specifically checked for this when it arrived; there was an extremely faint rubbery smell which was gone after the first use.

Very cute! The spa attendant at the Blue Lagoon in Iceland was wearing one similar and I fell in love with it. I couldn't find exactly the same so I got this one. it's a good fit I think, I suppose it depends how much hair you have to tuck in. I wore this cap for the first time today at my water bootcamp and though it looked super cute (no I didn't get any complements), but it is cute, cute is the number one reason to own this cap, as it does not keep your hair dry. In the item description, it says, "Helps to keep your hair dry", well, if you don't swim it will stay dry, but once you swim, water gets inside the cap, but it did keep my hair out of my face. Unfortunately I'll not be using this cap to keep my hair dry...

I'll take any motivation to get to the Y and swim for exercise. I got tired of my blah black bathing suit and plain black swim cap. Perhaps an interesting cap would get my motivation back up? I chickened out of the entire flower caps and this seemed like a reasonable step toward old ladyhood caps in the swim lane. It works great and keeps my ears and hair dry. My next cap, however, will be the totally colorful fully-flowered cap. Should look equally cool bobbing up and down as I swim my laps.

Few people know, I have no hair. I wear a very natural looking wig. When I change into by bathing suit at the Y I put on my cap an now one ever knows why I wear the cap. Always get compliments.

Keeps my hair dry. I do water aerobics weekly and I don’t want to get my hair wet. African American women don’t let the anixiety of wetting your hair wet stop you from water exercises. I wear this cap and my hair stays dry. It is comfortable and not too tight. You will need to put hair oils in your hair after use because it does dry your hair out.

I really like this latex bubble swim cap; however, it does not keep the water out. There are plenty of other, tighter caps that serve that purpose better. This is an attractive, feminine cap that keeps my very long hair out of the water and complements my swimsuits. The flowers are too cute! I've used it about a dozen times now, and the only problem that's surfaced thus far is that it has faded significantly. It's now more dark gray than black, but it's still cute and well worth the price.

Unfortunately the swimming cap does not fit at all. It would do nothing to protect your hair from chlorine damage. It is cut in s very strange way and if you were to swim with your head under water or even put your had underwater for a moment it would fill with water and drag you. Such a terrible disappointment. I missed.my return window because my dog had major surgery and now I’m stuck with this useless piece of rubber. I have a normal sized head. I am 5’5 and medium boned. There’s no reason this does not fit EXCEPT that it is a poorly crafted waste of my hard earned money. So angry I am stuck with it because off of your head it is adorable.

Good swim bath cap. Works as expected, providing protection for even long hair.

Fits good but reeks after one use. Smells like burnt rubber.
