The hangers were perfect for my project! I wanted to hang a mirror over my fireplace but did not want to drill in the stone. I had a /4 inch space at the top of the stone so I drilled a screw into the space. Measures the mirror and adjusted the length of the cable. Attached to back of mirror and then hung on screw! Sturdy and easy to use!

I ordered this to hang up a rather heavy mirror that was within the weight restriction. The length was easy to adjust. I just taped the slack to the back of the mirror. If you need to cut it, I reccomend using wire cutters or something meant for that sort of thing. The mirror is hanging perfectly and is very sturdy.

One of the hangers arrived not put together correctly, so it was not possible to adjust the length of the wire. However, taking it apart it seemed to be that the wire that is normally looped through the spring inside the tensioner was misfed and was stuck in the spring. Fixed the jam and it worked as expected, Good product but taking a star under the expectation that a product should be functional out of the box.

These worked great! I was hesitant to purchase because I read a review that said you can not adjust the length once you set it, but you absolutely can! Just push the most narrow cylinder in and you can push/pull the wire. These are sturdy! I hung two 50 lbs mirrors with them. I will purchase again in the future.

We got this to hang up a neon sign in a window. The sign is not symetrical so having the ease to adjust the cable was awesome.

I love the sturdiness, but it was hard for me to figure out how to use it. It's a great wire when you figure it out.

I ordered these to install a mirror that was only wired to hang vertically, I wanted it horizontal. My mirror is heavy but not so heavy I couldn't lift it by myself. I had one side up and was trying to adjust the other side when the wire came completely out of the hook. Luckily I was able to catch the $400 mirror before it hit the ground, damaged my drywall though. This may work for very light items but if you have anything over a few lbs stay away.

Item just received; one works perfectly the other one does not work at all. Does work as advertised very easy to use and does seem strong I will keep an eye on the mirror I hung to make sure the cable does not start to slip.
