high quality instrument cable
I purchased a Planet Waves instrument cable several years ago and it served me well. It was promoted as having zero triboelectric noise. (crackling electrical noise from moving and handling instrument cables) There was no noise as stated and the cable held up very well for a few years of frequent use, gigging and practicing. I have since moved to a wireless system but I'm sure that Plant Waves cable is still in great condition. I expected the same quality from these cables, purchased for a big pedal board. They have a high quality appearance and feel, they are free of the tribolectric noise and are working well at this time. I have tried cheap cables and they crackle when handled, are of visibly poor quality and just don't hold up to gigging wear and tear. I'm confident these cables will perform well for many years.

must have for pedal board
The question someone might have is, why would I need a 1 foot long guitar cable? If you have a pedal board this is basically a must have for this reason. All my pedals are on my board, connected by couplers and plugged into a power supply. I like it just how I set it up. But what about when I want to add something new? I really don't like tearing my board apart. This allows me to add a pedal to my dedicated board and have it on the floor next to the board without rearranging anything. I had to buy this one because my son snatched up the first one I bought. D'Addario has been a trusted brand by guitar players for a long time. I know that this is an import cable, but it is a quality cable nonetheless.

6" cable length between connectors
From plug to plug these are somewhere between 10"-11" Great cables. I have some Planet Waves versions of these cables that I bought 8-10 years ago. All 3 still work great. Just bought this 3-pack to expand with like cables (I prefer a uniform look where possible--mixed cables would do the job, but would bother me). Potential upsides/downsides to these are the length and depth of the plug head. If you are looking for compact connectors to minimize space between pedals on your board, these probably aren't the best choice. But if you want almost a foot long cable (plug-to-plug) for 6" cable price, and/or don't need the ultimate in compactness, these will likely fit the bill.

Solid, reliable cable, but sealed design means it cannot be repaired.
These are really great, high quality cables that will work reliably out of the box and last a long time if you take care of them. The plastic coating that seals in the plug should keep tension off of the solder joints, and help prevent crimping. The only downside is that they cannot be disassembled to repair them, so if one breaks you have to chuck it. If you are someone who wouldn't try to do that anyway, this is an affordable, quality product from a great brand.

Well made and reliable
I've been using the six inch patch cables as long as I've been using effects pedals. Never had an issue with them. Worth the money.

Planet waves classic series 0.5' right angle 3 pack.
Compared to George L pedal board cables that 80% of the time lose their connection on the tip. Planet waves are great and flexible. If after time the plug pull out as one guy says, just replace them. At 3 bucks a pop, keep some extras on hand and replace them. Don't they have a lifetime guarantee? nothing last in todays throw away world. These really work very well for me and you can get them in longer sizes, 2 and 3ft perfect for getting my volume pedal off the board and on the left side where I like it to be. They sound just as good as George L's cables without the connection problems GL's cause,"wire tip coming loose causing a connection loss." yeah you can re cut GL's but who the heck wants to trace the bad one down out of 10 pedals on your board. Planet waves are soldered connections, they are not coming loose.I'm very happy with Planet waves cables. There are so many con's out there today with so called high end cables that cost a fortune. anything after a buffered pedal doesn't make a difference anyway. don't believe the BS they use to get your money. These are great lo cap pedal board cables my gear? Two Rock Jet 35, 2008 PRS custom 22 10 top, 2008 Tom Anderson drop top classic, Godin Exit 22 and every pedal know to man.

Simple. Reliable. No obvious tone degradation or frequency cut.
This is a review of "D'Addario Guitar Patch Cable 1/4 Inch Right Angle to Right Angle Cable - 1 Foot/0.30 Meters". Great cable. The connectors are unobtrusive (i.e. not extra thick) and they fit into tight situations such as on guitar effects pedals where the input and output jacks are very close. Simple. Reliable. No obvious tone degradation or frequency cut. Overall an excellent value for the money.
