Was not durable
I found that the unit stopped working with age. I did not diagnose this issue. There is no disassembly possible with this product. The spring would no longer make the nozzle go back to the ready position. Other foaming soap dispensers have lasted longer, although one of the three other units is also no longer working. The solution might be to use more dilution. I always used distilled water and diluted only at the time of refilling the dispensers. We have a big house with many bathrooms and one dispenser in each kitchen.

Perfect with Regular Mouth Mason Jars
I have been looking forever trying to find foaming soap dispensers with the "oil rubbed bronze" finish to match the fixtures in my bathrooms. I really wanted them to look a bit more elevated while still being practical in use.I was so happy to find this set. I purchased some fancier tall mason jars that have a bit of design to them and a nice shape so they don't scream mason jars when you walk into the bathroom. I took a chance and it paid off! Just be sure to get REGULAR mouth mason jars. The pumps worked perfect on the first use. I just love foaming soap over the regular liquid hand soaps. You can turn any liquid hand soap into foam soap by simply watering it down, mix it with 5 parts water to one part soap. You can also buy it pre-mixed. I like this because I can buy liquid soap in a color I like and the clear jar will show any color I choose! I'm so happy to have found these and I will replace them if they should ever fail, they are a bargain!

Not Durable, the pumps do not last very long-worthless!
UPDATE: 11/6/22 I'm only my last foam pump dispenser. My one and only "good" one also became stuck and would not pump properly. My friend had ordered these in the past and she said the mason jar foam dispensers all stopped working for her too and she had to purchase the plastic ones with the plastic bottles. Total Bummer! Make a product that works effectively or don't make them at all!I was really excited to purchase these Foam Pump dispensers. My plan was to test them out on my mason jars and if they work well and last long I was gonna purchase more to make as Christmas gifts this year. Unfortunately, after several weeks 2 out of the 6 I purchased are no longer working properly. I have taken them apart and cleaned them out thoroughly and let them dry for a week prior to reassembly but they still do not work the way they are supposed to. I have one in my kitchen that is working great, since the day after I received them. I wanted these types of mason jar lids purposely to avoid plastic bottles. They look great but I am not satisfied in the quality enough to use as gifts

So far so good but...
I was disappointed to see that the pump is plastic. The ring that screws onto the jar is stainless (so they say!) but the rest is painted plastic that people are saying will wear off. They look nice and make nice foam but then I'm reading that the pump will soon malfunction. They come aesthetically packaged and include cute labels but for what they really are it's a bit pricey if they'll need replaced soon.

Okay, but not great.
One worked and I am pleased with it, but the other was very hard to use and then just broke.

Saves so much money
I use these with 3/4 c water, 1/4 cup liquid soap in a pint glass jar. Foamed soap works better using less soap.Jars go in the dishwasher after each use.Very economical and less plastic waste. If you don't get the parts lined up perfectly sometimes the top comes unscrewed with use, but once you get the knack for how tight to make the lid and pay attention to the alignment, that problem should stop.

COUNTERINTUITIVE PRODUCT
I thought this would be great. It turns out that this product is counterintuitive as I anticipated a savings of money and effort for the long haul and while I did save about $6 on soap, I am now in the hole when adding the cost of this product and all of the frustration which it has caused. Right out of the box, the screw band/lid of one set was difficult to screw onto the jar but I decided that I could live with what I convinced myself was only a minor defect in function. That was 3 & 1/2 months ago. I have refilled that jar 6 times and each time, the screw band/lid is more difficult to remove and replace. That is just one of the problems I've encountered. The "brushed nickel" finish of the PLASTIC pump mechanism began wearing off of both pumps within the first week and now looks terrible because you can see the white plastic of the base material. The pumps also began hanging up after approximately the same amount of time which I can only assume is caused by the finish having been worn off; after depressing the pump you have to manually pull it back up because the pump doesn't dispense properly otherwise. Yesterday after refilling one of the jars and reattaching the pump assembly to the jar, it wouldn't dispense. I assumed that the pump was somehow clogged but after removing it from the jar and rinsing it well under hot water it still would not dispense. I then attached the pump assembly from the other jar and it wouldn't dispense either. One might assume that since the COVID-19 pandemic and all of the associated extra handwashing, that the pumps are over used & worn out but that's definitely not the issue since the second set was on a jar in the kitchen which had foaming dish soap in it and was rarely used. As a matter of fact, for comparison, the second jar was only filled once yet still experienced all of the same issues except that it wasn't difficult to screw the band/lid onto the jar.I do not recommend this product. As a matter of fact, if you want to use a foaming pump dispenser to save yourself some money, buy one already filled from your store of choice and once emptied you can refill it with a solution of 1 part liquid handsoap or dishwashing liquid to 4 parts water; you'll still save money and landfill space.

Actual RUBBISH. - sad buyer from Australia.
DELIVERED ACTUAL RUBBISH. Came looking pre-used. And I ordered from USA to Australia. I usually don’t complain, but buyer beware! I can’t stand paying good money for rubbish things.

So good
Great quality, so satisfying to pump out the foam soap. I love the stainless finish but more like a brushed nickel. I use it for my face wash - diluted Castile soap… which is the best! Super happy with this purchase
