uxcell Pull Push Type Open Frame Solenoid Electromagnet, 45N 9.9 Lb., 10 Mm, DC 24V, 4.5A

I am using this solenoid in a home-brew pinball machine. Snappy response at 24 VDC and plenty of power. Square frame helps with mounting alignment. The plunger just terminates in a round rod, so I fabricated an endcap from a piece of 1/2" aluminum rod in order to have sufficient contact area with the ball (see photo).

Good solenoid with a decent throw. Will work at 12VDC as well ( with less force of course)

It works well. Uses a reasonable amount of current. Strong pull. Can regulate down voltage for less pull and less current draw.

Very well built. Runs fine off a 12V lead acid battery.
