The elderberry powder is a fine quality easy to mix into tea or smoothies. I even made homemade gummy bears and syrup with this! Will purchase again!

The flavor is good. The smell is good. the bag Is about 1/3 full. I wish there were more product in this large bag.I will add a tsp daily to my water, smoothie or tea

Elderberry is the popular immune booster right now. I like that this powder is organic.The packaging and description doesn't mention how much to use. I would have liked to know how much to make juice. You can experiment and figure out on your own, but a starting place would have been nice. I used 1 tablespoon in 12 ounces of water. This gave it a very light taste. 2 grams is the serving size, so I apparently put way too much in my drink based on a conversion I found on powder, which would be 3/8 teaspoon. There' are 50 servings in the bag, so to ensure that, make sure you are just doing a little more of a sprinkle on things. I wish the packaging wouldn't waste all the extra space. The powder fills less than half the bag. I went to their website listed on the bag, www.yakeefoods.com and no website comes up. I did go to their instagram page and it looks like this product company is only about 3 months old. I was hoping to find recipes, like the popsicles shown on the packaging. But unfortunately there wasn't much shown on their instagram either. I'd recommend this if you'd like to experiment with the powder and want to boost your immune system. I know my kids love elderberry syrup, but weren't a fan of this as a drink. I'd love to figure out how to make popsicles.

I've been trying to accumulate as many Elderberry products as I can because it is such a powerful anti-viral and will get to the core of a cold or flu real fast and knock it out. When this Elderberry powder came up on my list of items I could review I had to try it. I mixed a spoonful up in about 4 ounces of cold water and stirred until it was mostly in solution. I tasted it and was glad it wasn't bitter. It tasted pretty much like nothing. I added a little honey to it and it was very easy to drink down. The bag says one serving is 2g of elderberry powder but says nothing about any other ingredients such as vitamins. All that information is on the product page. I think this is a good product and will keep it on hand come this winter season to use to ward off cold and flu viruses.

This isn't as bitter and astringent as I would expect from straight elderberry powder. (Try eating fresh elderberries off the bush and Woooooboy! You'll be looking for sugar water to appease your bitter taste buds.) Perhaps the fact that this stuff tastes honestly delicious right from the bag is a drawback if you're pinching pennies and using this for health reasons because.....you'll eat the whole bag before you know it and the only way anyone will know is your mouth and nose will be bright pink. That said, this can be put into anything for both color and flavor, it's that good. Even my parakeet migrated to the bag immediately before I found her red-beaked and stopped her. (Don't let your bird get into powder as it can get into their nostrils and lungs.)

This is my first time using elderberry juice powder. I am used to using the syrup and taking elderberry in pill form but I find that discos perfectly well in my protein shakes. I didn't expect the powder to be such a bright pink color. It turns my whole shake pink, which is nice looking.I find that it doesn't really have a taste to it so it is masked by the other flavors in my protein shake.For the price, this is a great deal for the amount you receive.
