Perfect for its size!
The only reason i bought this fan was to cool off my massive power brick for my lenovo legion 7i laptop & it gets very warm to the touch when i am using my laptop.I have a cool stand for the laptop & i might use it for my laptop, external hard drives. So far it is keeping the power brick nice & cool considering how much heat it puts out running my beast of a laptop.I got the (small fan version) Its the perfect size & compact, the stand is very firm. It is well built and looks good and not cheap looking and i really do like the usb power source. The blades are plastic so no fear for your fingers getting damaged or cut up. By mistake it happen to me moving the fan and no issues at all. There is a single push button that control everything (on & off and 3 speed modes)On high mode, its perfect to getting a breeze of air. Its meant to be near you (less then 3 feet) on your desk and thats about it. The fan only rotates straight up and down.TRUE its NOT the most powerful fan but for its size its very good for what i meant to be used.Just my observation, there is a brief soft beeping noise only if i plug into a external usb hub when i turn it on. But when i plug into a regular usb connection there was no beeping noise.

Last purchased Dec 19, 2021, still running 11/27/2023 nonstop...
Last purchased Dec 19, 2021 turned on low the entire time to move air in my bedroom.. on high, it does well, on low, exactly what you'd expect. I use it with Ozone machine in the bedroom which supposedly cause damage to the rubber components, but so far, no issue with fan blades, very resilient.I use a microfiber cloth once every couple weeks because the foam blades do collect a little dust, if you keep them clean, there is no out of balance vibration that occurs AS A RESULT of dirty blades. It CAN get a little noisy when the foam blades get buildup like any fan. The buildup is easily removed, requires a soft damp cloth to clean the soft blades. These work very well considering. I'm seeing some say Craft foam.. it isn't craft foam, if you've ever been in industry.I am glad I bought it.I took it outside during the summer and ran it off a NOCO car jump starter, which also acts like a portable power source. It powered the USB fan without any issues for days. I couldn't see a major drain affect the battery so it must be quite efficient.Again, Nonstop. like 17000 hours. Crazy. Whisper quiet.Does it get better, for this price??? Yea. No. It does not. Keep the blades clean, no vibration issue.. I also set it on a facecloth or something soft.

Can't use this with Alexa or similar, because...
...this has a capacitive touch switch that must be activated manually after applying power! I wanted to use it with my Alexa device to supplement air flow while I sleep, but I can't. So it has to be turned on manually -- PERIOD. Yeah, I didn't look closely enough and expected it to have a manually on/off "speed" switch like my bigger AC powered fan, but it didn't. Since I'm a retired engineer, I can still hack this and bypass the switch, but I'll wait a while before I tackle that.Of course, once it's on, you CAN use Alexa to turn it OFF if it's (furnished) 5V power supply is plugged into an AC outlet WiFi switch (or in my case, I used a Sonoff 5V WiFi On/Off switched USB socket that I REALLY LIKE, here: https://www.amazon.com/Micro-USB-Smart-Adaptor-Compatible/dp/B083BKBKW5/). The blades are not super soft silicone (because they probably wouldn't be too effective at moving air), but you CAN feel it and it's loud when it smacks your hand. It will definitely scare a pet or kid. Also, I wouldn't recommend using it around a young child.Sturdy construction and nicely made. Hopefully, it will last a while, but that's mostly dependent on its non-replaceable bearings, which I suspect is "standard" poor-grade Chinese construction (OK, it used to be poor-grade US made bearings for cheap stuff). Time will tell.

BEST LITTLE FAN EVER
I’ve had this fan for a few years now and honestly I leave it on day in and day out, dropped it multiple times, and it still runs perfectly fine. It runs so well that when it’s on my face it makes me SUPER cold. The touch mode for the different fan speeds is wonderful too. Low noise and I sleep with it every night and usually just leave it on when I’m not home for extra circulation. It’s really powerful for a little guy.

Decent desk fan
It's a decent desk fan, you buy it because it looks cool, and you'll want it pretty close to push any appreciable air. It is a usb plug in, so any computer port will do. It has 3 settings, the fastest is loud, but the next 2 speeds are pretty quiet and not distracting. The fan blades are foam, so no grill needed. If you jam your finger in there it won't hurt, it'll just stop the blade.I would buy again for keeping some air flowing at my desk (I would also consider it as a good bedside fan). It tilts up and down several degrees.
