For all of the women or men out there who love the legendary Fracas fragrance- and know how it smells… well, it’s unforgettable. Now, I’m sure it’s not for everyone, but as a high end perfume collector, I’m here to report that the purse size spray bottle I received was most definitely the original Fracas and not a copy. I know this fragrance very well and was delighted to have received the real deal. 🙌🏻

I have an acute and some have told me inaccurate sense of smell. I lost it during the pandemic and have made peace with the fact that things don’t arouse my sense of smell and taste the way the used to. With that being said, I may not be the best judge of what smells good and doesn’t but I can be a useful when it comes to projection and silage. This fragrance comes all the way through for me and lingers for an entire 8 hour work day and then some. That’s totally rare for me so the force is strong with this one. Also, I can’t tell the difference between tuberose and gardenia since most fragrances that advertise one tend to use both. If you like either of those white florals or a “buttery” or “milky” floral fragrance then Fracas is your girl. If you want a fragrance that feels simultaneously old-timey and timeless, then order right now.

Not inexpensive but the best ever odor

I first bought Fracas about 30 years ago in Manhattan at Bergdorf’s. This is when my dad sent me out with a credit card and free rein. This is the most beautiful perfume and oftentimes I’ll see fabulous women buying and talking about it. When Courtney Love recommended it, I knew it was time to drop the money. It has tones of gardenia, freesia, very light and fragrant. I’m a pauper now but at least I have a tiny bottle of Fracas again.

Perfect travel size

This item, FRACA perfume was an elegant fragrance started in 1948. It could not be bought any place but I found it on Amazon however I think Amazon had it for a long long time because it doesn’t smell the same. It is awful.
