I don’t know what anyone here is talking about saying that they went under water with this and their hair stayed dry. Nah. No you didn’t. This is a little bit better protection than a shower cap. You will have to buy a silicon swimming cap to go under it if you want to be able to keep your hair dry. I didn’t even go under water and half my head was soaked. In fact, it would hold the water inside and I would have to periodically open the seem and let the trapped water out.BUT it is so cute. 100% worth buying if you’re just lounging, want to avoid splashes, or buy a swimming cap to go under it. It looks like a little 1920’s turban. I like the way mine looks more if I wear it backwards.

I'm giving this swim cap 4 stars all around because I feel like it would be perfect if it wasn't so loose on me. I do have a small head so I think it isn't overly large. I tend to run into this problem a lot.It is SO cute though and I will keep them for light swimming in the pool but will need to find something more snug for the ocean.

It looks good but the quality is not that great. It ripped at the seems after a few uses and I still got some of my hair wet

Looks nice, however I must have a very large head, too tight could not leave on for very long.

When first looking at it I was happy that it was actually waterproof (liner under the fabric). However, when first trying it on part of the cap ripped (see picture) where the fabric meets the waterproof lining! It's not as good of a fit (is a little too big) and some water gets in (especially when diving).

This cap should not br used as a swimming cap. I did not read the description and thought it was a swimming cap, it is not. It cap be used as a shower cap and has a nice snug fit

I wore this for the first time tonight, loved it. It is not water tight, but it kept most of my hair dry. I found it very comfortable on my head. This is not going to work for a legit swim. However, if you want to get in the water, but you don't want your hair to get wet, then this is the route for you. This will prevent you from being a Karen and screaming at others not to get your hair wet. Cause no one really likes hanging out at the pool, with the person who keeps screaming about getting wet. Don't be that person, buy this swim cap.

Keeps my hair dry enough for what I use it but it’s rather a tight fit and it leaves marks on the skin on my forehead for quite some time after I remove it. Assume it will get a little looser with time. Looks nice. Quality seems good. Price is high.

It is a very good looking hat but such poor quality that it tore after wearing it twice.I have returned it for a refund which is supposedly on its way.

I absolutely love this Swim Bathing Cap. It keeps my ears and hair dry. Unfortunately after using the cap only 3 times, the rubber seal came away from the polyester cap. I am sending the swim cap back and reordering another - I am hoping that it was just a flaw in this cap and not indicative of the overall quality of the workmanship. When I am able to try out the new cap, I will give my overall rating then ... cause it will be a much higher rating

For me, it is an extremely stylish shower cap actually!!! I bought it for my Aqua Regab/Fitness classes. I have not tested it under water.I love the fit and the style!! It is not tight fitting like a traditional silicone swim cap. The water that splashes up on it just beads up and roles off the material at the top. And my hair doesn’t get terribly messed up either, when I remove the cap after one hour of Aqua Rehab/Fitness .I even received a number of compliments from women as well as men in my Aqua Rehab class.I love it!!!

I wanted something to cover my hair, and also look good and this does both. There is a rubber lining around the perimeter of the head opening, and a shower cap like material inside. I haven't used it extensively to see if it's completely waterproof, I imagine it isn't, but it does enough, and this cap isn't tight like most swimming caps, so thumbs up from me.
