I LOVE this file! So easy to use and it makes my nails so pretty and shiny. I got a few as gifts I was so happy with it.I usually stay away from buffing my nails, but due to some botched peel-off base coats, I had a few ragged areas that were trying to lift, so I needed something to smooth those areas out to keep them from worsening. This file did the trick.It’s extremely interesting. It has a self leveling quality and seems to only shave off anything that is higher than the largest area. Once it hits the level part of your nail, it doesn’t shave away as much. I really like that aspect since it keeps the nail from getting too thin.It did take a decent amount of time to get that first shine, a couple mins per nail, but the upkeep is beyond easy. A few seconds at most.It’s easy to clean and lasts a long time.I’ve also been using this to finish off the free edge after trimming with a Czech glass file (faster for trimming longer natural nails). This file adds a nice finishing touch, making the edges smooth and (of course) shiny.It seems the larger one with rounded ends works a bit faster than the smaller rectangular one. Not sure if it was designed that way or if it’s just the size and leverage of the file showing off. I like that there are seemingly two strengths though. Options are always good to have, especially for anyone with thinner nails.Out of curiosity, I tried using it on other things just to see if it could make them shiny. Nail repair powder? Yep. Tea bag and nail glue? Yep. Skin? Yep. Like glass. o.0 As a side note, you might want to file any rough skin with a Czech glass file instead of this one unless you want glass-like skin, lol. Cheap wooden orange stick? Smoothed out all the splintery areas and turned it into something resembling high-quality wood. I added a little oil afterward which made it pop that much more. If there are any woodworkers out there, maybe give this file a try.It didn’t really do much to a silicone cuticle pusher (I wanted a sharper angle on it), which just showed off this file’s self-leveling aspect. If something is already smooth, it won’t do much.On top of it giving nails a high shine, the shine lasts. As long as you don’t do anything to scrape up your nails, it should last a decent amount of time. I’m going on close to a month now. Even through multiple soaks in 100% pure acetone, my nails have stayed shiny.I am very happy with this file and will be getting a few more in the future since I’ve run through all my gifts already.Queue McDonald’s jingle, “I’m lovin’ it!”

They shine like mirrors and even better than nail polish because it doesn’t hurt the nails, shine amazingly and looks really healthy ! Everyone is so jealous of my nails and wanted the secret! I bought 2 and this price is really nothing compared to what this product can do! Also, I always had dull-looking toenails but now I can’t stop looking at them! They look so healthy and beautiful and the shine is so bright it’s even obvious with thin socks!!! It’s unbelievable! I LOVE it and I’m buying more for sure ! My sisters also wanted to buy some when they saw the results!The shine lasts as the nail grows but I re-do it every week and it shines even more so I would say once a week is a good time and of course there’s a learning process to get the perfect shine all over the nail but it doesn’t take that longAlso, the seller is AMAZING! I am awe struck by this product! I almost never find the time to write a review (shame on me!), but could not contain myself when I received & used this product! First, it comes in beautiful packaging (padded shipping envelope, beautifully decorated box that simply says, “Happy’, a velvet pouch, a plastic sleeve for the file to protect it in your purse, & a sweet ‘Thank You’ card). After the very impressive packaging, I was kind of skeptical on how good this file/buffer could be since it was soooo reasonably priced. Well, I’m still pinching myself because I can’t believe how great it works!!! It’s a very fine file on one side, & a hard jell (I think?) kind of feel on the other side. I’m not sure if I did it right since there are no instructions, but I very gently rubbed the file side on my nail, & then turned it over & gently rubbed the colored side on my nail, & it was instant unbelievable shine . . . like I put clear polish on! WOW! I just ordered several more to keep in various places (purse, car, office, mani/pedi cases . . .) & for friends to try. This brand comes in 2 sizes, this one (4 1/2+” L x 1/2” W) - great for fingers & a slightly smaller size 3 1/2” L x 1/2” W - good for toes. I will never use anything else going forward! Don’t hesitate to buy both sizes! (I’m a freak about using the same tools for my fingers & toes - always keep separate, & I find the smaller size easy to manage on toes, & the larger size good for my hands.) Incredible value & results!!! Finally, something that works :) Thank you.

This is the best nail file ever, I’m obsessed. I’ve gotten them for everyone as gifts and I’ll never go back to a normal emery board or even the standard glass file!!
