There are better insoles out there for half the price.
I got the version with the gray fabric upper and yellow lower with small (a few mm thick) blue layer on the heel.I wonder how legitimate a lot of these reviews are. They do not have specialized support - they are the same foam throughout, aside from the thin bit of blue at the heel, which is slightly firmer than the yellow foam. They widen towards the top, so there's some "design" to the insert, but nothing that makes this much different than a basic, flat insole. The upper gray layer includes a very thin layer of (very) cheap foam padding - like the little pads you see on bike helmets, but thin and lower quality. It will wear down quickly and does not provide any support whatsoever. It is a magnet for any lint, pet hair, etc. The yellow lower is firmer, more rubbery foam. Also gets dirty very easily. Not only attracts hairs and dirt, but gets marked up and smudged somehow. It is not at all like memory foam, but it does spring back easily. It probably won't compress as quickly as some other inserts - it seems to spring back okay - but over time it'll compress. It's hard to describe as firm or soft. It gives when you poke it, but in the shoe it feels firm; only slightly better than an uncomfortable shoe insole. They have little holes that go all the way through, which made my feet freezing (though I get cold feet easily). If your feet are usually warm and do not sweat at all, this might work, but I definitely would not recommend for warm weather or sweaty feet. The foam upper is not breathable or absorbant. It encourages sweating and then holds all the moisture. I wouldn't even recommend with socks.Overall they are very bulky for the amount of support you get. There are better, cheaper insoles that are thinner with more support. If you are looking for a decent, uniform layer of cush for everyday use, thick memory foam would be more comfortable and just as bulky. Or a flat running shoe insole with gel or shock absorption. If you're looking for support, a running insert OR one with some firm lower areas and soft upper will be much more comfortable. It might be useful for running because it's slightly springy, but an insole designed for running would give more of that.I can't think of any circumstances where I'd recommend this specific insole. There are better ones out there for cheaper. If it had a better upper, it might be useful in very specific circumstances, but overall this is not worth buying.

These worked for me. WOW WOW WOW
I have severe plantar fasciitis and have been in agony add to that bone spurs on both heels. Paid $350 for custom built orthodics and nothing helped and I wore an orthopedic boot for a year during the day and fins at night to stretch out my feet. These for me have been a game changer. I have been able to delay surgery for right now. I am not sure how long they last but I have been wearing them about 18 hours a day inside a sandle that had a rim around them that stopped the insole from coming out and taken back some of my life. My feet are tired and a bit sore at the end of a long day but I can walk, sit, get up and not have those agonizing "knife steps" after sitting down for even a short time. I have not been able to be on my feet at all for more than a few hours. I will buy replacements to keep the cushion effects that keep me relatively pain free. Very grateful just to be able to walk at all. Not sure how they will work for others but they work for me.

Great all around insole to improve the comfort of any shoe!
All sneakers have a moderate amount of cushion, but no where enough when it comes to being comfortable and walking/ standing all day long.I am a college student at a UC and walk close to 6000+ steps a day whilst lugging a 50lb backpack. And I have a number of shoes from nikes, Jordan's and vans which I all would say are pretty moderate when it comes to comfort. But I randomly came across this insole and decided to give it a try, and here how I tested if it was worth the investment.- I replaced the insole of one Nike air Jordan 1 with aid sole Athletic insole, and left the other shoe with the original insole it came with.at first I noticed it was much more supportive and my foot was cradled by the curves of the insole much more competed to the original sole, which left my shoe feeling like there was a bunch of space under my arc.At the end of the day I did notice my show with the insole much less fatigued than the one without.OVERALL:.I would definitely recommend replacing he insole (instead of just placing it on top of the existing one) usually it just takes a little effort to peel it off the shoe Bc it's held down with a mild glue. This insole did a great job in replacing the original insole and providing comfort and support. Here are pics of the original sole of my air Jordan 1's compared to the cushioning of the our insole insole

starsLife changing!
Completely honest review. I have plantar fasciitis. I work retail so I have to be on my feet for hours in a day, at least 40 hours a week. Upon developing plantar fasciitis, I found that even the slightest amount of walking, I had to take copious amounts of pain pills. Day one, my feet still hurt, but not as much. I didn't find myself coming home and walking like a 120 year old man. These inserts have saved me. They have saved my job, they have saved my sanity, and they have helped me reach a healthier weight because I can finally move again! Not only do I buy them at least once a year(as I'm on my feet so often), I have purchased them for others who have told me about their foot pain so they could try them. These people have been just as amazed as I was, something so small can make such a huge difference in one's quality of life. I will never go without these inserts!

Comfortable but hot
These really are comfortable, but they don't breath well and my feet get hot and sweaty. I'm not taking them out though, because for the first time in months my feet don't hurt, and I'm not limping after getting up from lunch break or after my drive home. It's a trade off I'm willing to accept. I have tried many drugstore insoles that have not worked as well.
