There's trouble in paradise for former CIA operative Michael Westen and his cohorts, and the streets of Miami are hotter--and deadlier--than ever before in the action-packed, adrenaline-charged sixth season of Burn Notice! In hot pursuit of his old nemesis, Michael must take down Anson Fullerton and find a way to free Fiona from prison, where she is being targeted by a murderous foe. Michael goes full force to save Fiona as he takes on cold-blooded assassins, diabolical drug cartels, uneasy alliances, and explosive danger at every turn, until an unthinkable tragedy leaves him reeling and rocks his team to the very core.

A Unique And Fun To Watch TV Series With Terrific Character Development!
My husband and I love to watch this Burn Notice series! It's unique plot and character development has not been replicated in any other series since Burn Notice went off the air. The characters of Fiona and Sam really make the show. A great and fitting series ending, too. This complete series comes in a set of 28 DVDs in a handy storage box. It's a terrific value, and great to watch over and over again.I highly recommend this product.

Some clever writing and a cast with chemistry
Very well done spy show with a lot of twists. Cast is great and the writing is exceptional with lots of intriguing voice-over ideas about how the protagonist views various situations. Thought provoking.I've viewed all 7 seasons and none of them seems weak. While it's technically a ("burned") spy show, it has lots in common with detective shows. While the cast are not law enforcement, they are constantly in situations where they need to do essentially detective or PI work, making this series comparable to PI shows. I think it beats the big ones, for example Magnum PI, and perhaps my old favorite which for many years was the Rockford Files.Plus if you like seeing a hot chic who has a fetish for blowing up cars and buildings with C4, this show is for you!

Miami, Mojitos, and Michael Weston!!
Amazing show!! The action is HOT in Miami!!If you're considering purchasing this box set then I assume you already know and love this show, so my review is more about the actual set. I was very happy when I opened the box. Each season has it's own dvd case with information about the season on the back. The box itself is really pretty on the inside and has the picture of the 5 main characters walking on the outside (the same image Amazon has for the product). I watched the first three seasons so far and the quality is great, even though it's not blu-ray. I was pleased with the video and sound; both seemed to be as good as it gets in DVD. While I was watching I forgot I was watching a DVD because it looked great!I was really on the fence about spending the money to own this set, but I'm really glad I did. This is an amazing show and this box set doesn't disappoint either. There's two things that I'd like to mention as possible cons, but neither felt bad enough to lose a star. The first is that The Fall of Sam Axe is not included (I bought it on blu-ray for only $8, so NBD) and the second is that the set is wide, making for awkward placement with your other DVDs/Blu-rays/Box sets. Instead of setting up the DVDs to be in one stack, the box splits them into two stacks next to each other. Depending on how you store your movies and shows it might be hard to find a place for this set, but I don't think that makes the set not worth having!! :)Overall: If you love this show, don't be turned off by the lack of blu-ray and the long box set. For me, the joy of this awesome show far outweighs these small cosmetic factors.

One of the best series, ever
If you like spy, action, drama, love stories, you'll like this. When this was airing back in the day, I told my lady-friend she couldn't come over, as Burn Notice was on and if she did, she'd have to keep quiet during it. Yes, it is that good, didn't want to tape it and watch it later, had to watch it NOW. Couldn't wait for the next installment to air. Now, years later, I have the luxury of watching it again at my leisure. Great acting, mostly, ok...fairly believable plots, but definitely engrossing. You root for the underdogs, Michael, Fiona, Sam, Madeline and then later added, Jesse. It was great to see Bruce Campbell again, loved the short-lived Adventures of Brisco County Jr. series. Jeffrey Donovan is great, 007 material in my book.

A solution to the package!
We love this series and have watched it several times through on Prime. Now they took it off and it's been awhile since we watched so...we found this and bought it. Definitely see that the packaging is different than most, but then again, we haven't bought too many complete seasons all at once. Anyway, my husband came up with a simple solution. We took the DVD's out of the case they were packed in, and by using a CD case that holds all 28 discs, we put them each in a separate envelope. Seems to solve the issue of being a pain to get to the disc you want. We'll see how they play when we start season one tomorrow. If there are any problems, I will update and they will be sent back for sure!UPDATE: We just finished the series and we had no problems at all with any discs. Totally recommend!! Great series.

Conflicted
First the easy part. The case was a pain because each side of the dividers would hold two seasons and to get to the last disk for second of the two season, you would have to remove 7 other disks. In so many words, you had to move a lot of disks around. At the same time, it was one of the sturdier multi-season holders, so I am willing to put up with with the disk swapping to make up for a decently made case otherwise.I didn't have the opportunity to see this program while it was actually on the air, but heard good things about it, so I bought the complete series. Overall I am glad I did The action sequences were well done. The acting was very good and the episodes kept your interest. I found the liked the supporting characters Sam Axe (Bruce Campbell) and Fiona Glennane (Gabrielle Anwar) better than the main character, Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan). Though Donovan did a very good job, I got aggravated with the character role. For supposedly being such a top notch spy, he made so many stupid decisions. I know it was to keep the suspense up and milk the the plot, but I found it overall irritating. The "client" part of the episode was consistently pretty good. The final two seasons were very good. The final season was excellent and almost made sitting through the stupid decisions in previous seasons worthwhile.I would overall recommend the series if for no other reason than season seven. If the whole series had been of that caliber, I would give it a 5+ rating. If you enjoy action, you can't go wrong with this series.
