I’d have to say these aren’t top-of-the-line embroidery hoops. They are what I would call average quality like the type you’d expect from a retailer like Walmart. However, I am using them without too much problem ….. but I won’t be repurchasing these particular wooden hoops again.

These will work for the time-being, but I wouldn't recommend until you have 3-4 arms/hands. You have to hold one side of the screw and twist the actual screw to tighten or loosen. Most hoops can be done with one hand tightening the screw, and the other holding the hoop in place. I had to have my husband help me put this around my fabric. I'll use the 3 I bought, but I will not be buying again.

These are not 8” across. The inside diameter of the smaller hoop is ~maybe~ 7.5” if you’re trying to frame something that’s 8” across these won’t work for you.I, keeping it since I can probably find something they‘ll work for but It’s disappointing.

I ordered the 8” hoop (which in the photo shows 8” measurement on the inside of the hoop), but received hoops that are 7.25”. They don’t fit my project, so I’m returning.

I purchased 3 hoops.2 of the 3 have big splinters and one has a gouge in it. The L bracket clasps are not great - a little corroded and do not look nice, hard to close. Will try another brand.

Exactly what I had hoped for when I ordered these. Wonderful product and great price!

They do work well, but be careful because they are not 'finished' and small splinters have been known in fingers. Also, quality of the screw tightener could be improved; hard for folks with arthritics hands.
