I am extremely impressed with these **4-inch heavy-duty casters**. The build quality is outstanding—thick steel, smooth bearings, and a very sturdy plate that inspires confidence. I purchased these casters with one purpose in mind - to mount them to the feet of my 2 Life Fitness/Hammer Strength dumbbell racks. I have a complete set of pro-style dumbbells (now very rusty from sitting in storage for 10 months) 5lbs to 100lbs. I just bought a new house and, until I can build a new 20’ x 30’ gym, I’m using the garage. With that in mind, my wife still wants to be able to use the garage to park her car in when it’s going to snow so I needed to make as many pieces of my weight lifting equipment as mobile/transportable as possible. Each of my dumbbell racks weighs 200lbs empty. The lighter rack weighs 1000lbs loaded with dumbbells and the heavier rack weighs 1,500lbs loaded with dumbbells. I built blocks for all 8 feet of the dumbbell racks using 2 - 3/4” x 3-5/8” x 6” maple plywood that I laminated together with glue and screws. Then I drilled holes for where all 4 of the (5/16” x 2-1/2”) caster bolts would go and drilled 2 larger holes for where the (7/16” x 3”) dumbbell rack feet bolts would go. I used 3-prong T-Nuts to secure the casters to the blocks with 5/16” bolts. This worked perfectly. I installed the blocks and casters onto the feet of the racks before I removed them from storage. This made moving them out of storage and into my house MUCH easier. Don’t get me wrong, the 1,500lb dumbbell rack isn’t easy to move by any means, but that’s relative and it DOES move. I said that’s relative because, in comparison to how easily the dumbbell rack was able to moved prior to installing the casters on the feet of the rack, it’s night and day. The racks stay put when I engage the brakes. The bearings are very smooth and all of the casters swivel as they should. Overall I am EXTREMELY satisfied with these casters and can confirm that they hold AT LEAST 1,500lbs. That being said, I’m positive their 1,800lb weight rating is accurate. You will not find a more affordable, better quality, heavy duty caster. My only minor and insignificant complaint is that the casters brakes don’t engage at perfect 90 degree, 180 degree, 270 degree & 360 degree intervals (perfectly parallel and perpendicular to the mounting plate). This isn’t a big issue at all though. I am fully aware that this is more so an issue with my OCD. Put it this way, this “issue” isn’t enough for me to change my 5-star review. BUY THESE - YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID!

Easy install, good size and quality caster. Nuts and bolts were loose in the box and a few were missing. The bolts are also fairly short, I had to use some others that I had to install the casters on my cart.

These casters were recommended to me by someone who made a drapery workroom table. I needed to make a drapery workroom table myself. So I also purchase these because of what she had to say about them and I got to witness them on her table. These casters are extremely heavy duty and easy to install. They lock easily, look nice and they roll very smoothly. My drapery workroom table is 5 ft by 10 ft made of wood and other various materials. It also has a storage area underneath so it holds a lot of weight. I've never had a problem moving this table with these casters. I love these casters so much! I'm going to go ahead and buy some more of the 2-inch versions so I can modify my sewing machine tables so they will be able to roll around as well.

I have ordered many sets of these. They are strong and easy to lock and unlock. I am now able to roll the grill cart and work bench easily. I love the price.

I needed a platform with rollers (casters) for my lawn tractor in order to move it sideways into a small opening in my garage. Searching for how to do it, I found a bedframe in my attic. It's near perfect size to store my 38 inch cut Poulan lawn tractor. I needed small diameter casters so the drive on height was not challenging yet be able to support roughly 500 pounds. These qualify. I removed the original bed frame feet and it's rollers and installed these 2 inch casters instead. I cut a sheet of plywood to fit between the frame rails to support the tractor. I had a long strip of carpet on hand, made a tiny ramp, together they keep platform from skidding while driving on. Woks perfect. I can now push my tractor sideways relatively easy into position, no need to move my nearby equipment. Though the wheel locks work well, not needed by me. I recommend these casters.

This is the 6th set of 4” casters that I have purchased over the past couple years. Ive used them on various mobile woodworking projects and they are outstanding! Sturdy, durable and a great value. Highly recommend.

Item itself feels strong and solid, however all nuts and bolts loose inside the inner box (seller's box, not Amazon's box), there are a few empty plastic bags inside inner box. Collected them together found there are 16 bolts and 14 nuts in total, I believe 2 nuts short delivered.
