Exactly what I was looking for
This is exactly what I was looking for. Design, size, color, all on target.A couple of observations on design ....The lid has a generously proportioned bump along the inside edge to keep the lid from sliding off the pot when pouring the last contents out of the pot. Designers who omit this feature have never used a tea pot. Here's something I don't especially like: inside the pot where the contents depart the tea pot proper to enter the neck, the exit is NOT a single hole. Instead this exit is composed of seven small holes (about 1/4 inch in diameter) -- six in a circle with one more in the center of the circle. The only reason I can imagine for this design is the notion that these small holes would serve as a sort of coarse sieve, to strain out tea leaves which are floating freely in the liquid inside the pot. Is this how people are making tea for themselves? Do they really dump loose tea leaves in a pot and add hot water? I thought tea bags and infusers had been the rage for many decades now!The result of this design, of course, is to make it difficult to clean out the neck of the tea pot, at least in the way I've done in the past -- i.e. to roll up a paper towel into a long, thin, and flexible straw, then to insert this into the neck, down into the cavity of the pot, and to pull it back and forth to dislodge deposits inside the neck of the teapot. Oh well. I guess I'll havae to purchase some pipe cleaners now.For the picky, here's a couple of observations ...For most folks, the color of the "plum" edition will be rich chocolate brown, with an almost subliminal note of blue. I can't help but wonder if it were some marketing factotum who insisted that this pot be sold as "plum" colored. It ~is~ a very pleasing shade of brown, especially since I use it in the mornings to hold my cafe au lait. The capacity is 32 fluid ounces. I measured this carefully with a kitchen measuring cup. This is barely six five-ounce "tea cups" of capacity. Many in the reviews complain, thinking that the pot will be 48 fluid ounces in capacity. Nope, it's 32. Fine by me. Thirty-two ounces of very strong cafe au lait in the morning is plenty for me.The price is great. The free shipping is great. It arrived in four days, safe and sound.

Broken
Poorly packaged and arrived broken. The teapot was loose inside the box. The box was wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside another box. It would have made more sense to wrap the teapot in bubble wrap. Disappointed. The color was nice but the pot was a little small. No satisfaction from this purchase.

Good quality for the money
This is a well made teapot, a nice color, it holds plenty of tea. It replaces a very expensive teapot that I broke after using it well over 20 years. This one works just as well, and I have a nice new tea cozy to go with it. It's easy pouring and the tea stays hot for a long time.

A nice teapot
I needed a new teapot since the one I had for over 25 years needed to be replaced. I bought one and then a few months later I bought a second one. It's a nice little teapot but it doesn't hold as much as my previous one and it doesn't keep it as hot for as long as I would like it to.I'm not sure if you can see, but in the second picture, one of the openings is not completely round. This does not affect the teapot at all.In the third picture, the second teapot I ordered has a little chip on it but, again, it does not affect the teapot and I was not going to send it back for replacement.I can pour without holding the lid (I don't, but I could, lol). It seems to stay in place and not fall off while pouring. Also, it pours nicely. I still usually pour over the sink, just in case of spills, but if you don't tip it too quickly, it won't spill out.Overall, I like it. I make a lot of iced tea in the summer, which is why I purchased two so I could make it faster.

Small teapot
This holds about 4 mugs. It is a nice teapot if you use tea cups.

Great size for one
I love the color. The lid allows for the infuser chain and still closes tightly. I use it in the microwave. The handle stays cool enough to carry.

smaller than advertised, if not broken would have been a good teapot.
Arrived broken after weeks of waiting. Teapot measured 4 cups not 6 as advertised.

love this pot.
Almost exactly like my great grandma's pot that we have many lovely cups of tea from. Ahhh. Good and sweet memories.
