Does what it supposed to do great

SO. Unbeknownst to me, my five year old hit the MTS button on the old remote, which was on its last legs... I tossed it out after it fell one too many times on my cement floor, and was beyond the point of repair and tried a regular old universal remote from Wally World. Worked ok. I could change channels, work the volume, and access the menu. But then I turned on the tv one night, to find that some channels had jacked up sound or were broadcasting en Espanol for the movie, but the commercials were all broadcast in English. El Cheapo remote had no MTS/SAP button on it, and the Vizio model tv I have didn't have any way to change it under the sound settings in the menu. I was pretty upset. Checked Amazon, found this, ordered it, Prime got it here in like 22 hours, I installed a pair of batteries, pointed it at the tv and pressed the MTS button, and viola... GRACIAS! PERFECTO!! EXCELLENTE!!! We are back in business, thanks to this awesome, perfect, excellent remote. No programming needed. You put in batteries and you're done. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

Great product! We bought this VR1 Replacement Remote to replace an old, beaten up, then lost somewhere remote (teenage-induced wear and tear and disappearance) for our 12-year-old Vizio JV50P "Jive" plasma HDTV. I checked the product description here and read reviews that indicated this remote would work on our ancient Vizio plasma set. To our very pleasant surprise, not only does it work for basic critical functions, it also works perfectly for every function of our old set, even those we seldom or never use. It is a great replacement remote for our outlier Vizio "Jive" plasma set. We are very impressed with its function, quality, and price; and highly recommend this! My wife now wants me to buy another one for her convenience. Let the battle of the remotes begin! I will keep fresh batteries on hand.

I bought a TV from a colleague and I never did have the right remote. I couldn’t use the PIP, change menu settings and stuff like that. I ordered this remote and I’m assuming I can do everything that the original one does. Has every button I need including all the Picture in Picture options. I can finally adjust the color so the people on the screen don’t look orange anymore. It worked right out of the box after I put batteries in. No programming at all. I have a Vizio VX37L HDTV if anyone else does and is wondering if this works for theirs. I couldn’t be any happier and more pleased.

I was about 30 seconds away from coming here pounding my chest and cursing my luck when this item FAILED to activate my monitor, a model this remote was CLEARLY advertised as no programming needed!!!! I tried new batteries, then new new batteries and nothing. I made it work. What was the deal? this sonufabeech has a MINIMUM range of operation. If I try to operate this at arms's length's from the monitor IT WILL NOT WORK. I have to stand at what it feels like a minimum 6 feet from the monitor to operate as designed. It must have such a narrow beam that requires that much distance for the sensor to pick up it signals.

This is a review for the "New Vizio Vr1 Replace Remote ,Function 100% Same As Original, No Need Any Program, Only Put Into New Battery Can Work". This thing is an apparently perfect clone for the lost factory remote for a Vizio VA26L HDTV10T television I picked up second hand recently. It even looks almost exactly like the one shown in the manual I found online and downloaded for the TV right down to the layout of the buttons and the unusual overall shape of the thing, It seems to work just fine, too. I just put in some batteries and it worked with the TV mentioned above immediately, no complicated programming required. Given how little it cost, I'm more than happy with the purchase.

The old remote began having contact issues (not the batteries--the buttons just weren't always making the required contact) so I sent for this replacement. The price was right, the delivery quick, and it works like a charm, on, off, volume, channel, all buttons are fine. It's nice not having to walk to the TV to make all the adjustments like I had come to do with the old one. -- not a matter of laziness either-- I'm getting pretty old myself and it just is wonderful having one that works again.
