These would be fantastic...
These would be great if I could get my kiddo to wear them! She's afraid to wear them. I trust that these are well-rated and a good brand. They are adjustable and well-made for a toddler to wear. I'll try again next summer.

My child hated them
I think these would work if your child tolerates them. Having the strap and not being able to take them off and put them on herself drove my child absolutley nuts and she never wore them for more than 5 seconds at a time before throwing a fit and ripping them off. What good are sunglasses your child won't wear? I would just consider the temperment of your child before purchasing. As for the glasses themselves, there seemed to be nothing innately wrong with them, they just did not work for us. We will save them to see if our next child will use them, otherwise we will be regifting. We found a pair of sunglasses for toddlers where the part that goes over the ear is straight instead of bent and the nose bridge is symmetric, so the glasses do not have an upside down or rightside up, whatever way you put them on is correct. Since she can put these on herself without "doing it wrong" she has more control and is willing to wear them. She even asks to wear them if she sees them lying out because she thinks putting on glasses is exciting (my husband and I both wear glasses). They are called "Julbo Kid's Looping Sunglasses." We leave the cord off for now since she won't wear them if she can't put them on and off by herself, but you do have the option of attaching a cord to hold them in place better on the head if needed. (there are holes for attaching at cord the back of each temple behind the ear). If your toddler sounds like they have a similar "do it all by myself" temperment, I would give these glasses some consideration instead.

With some kid cooperation these are great!
The only reason I didn't give these a 5 was because a strap was sewn on upset down. It's really not a big issue but you can't reverse it without resewing. I was surprised by so many negative reviews as we love these uv glasses. We bought a baby pair and a toddler pair. We have average size kids and these were great on the beach. When we were finally able to get cooperation from the 2 1/2 year old hers were great on the beach and at the pool. We put the top half of her thin silky hair in a pony tail and then we were able put on the glasses without slipping. Over all we really think they are worth the money on sunny day near water.

They fit around a cranial band / helmet!
I have had a hard time trying to find something to protect my sons eyes while wearing his helmet that he needs to wear 23 hours out of the day. Regular hats had huge bills on him. Regular sunglasses will not fit under the helmet. 2% of babies will need one of these helmets and I'm truly shocked there is nothing on the market geared to protecting the babies eyes! The circumference of the outside of the helmet is 19". The only negative is they are hard to get centered due to the strap only adjusting on one side.

Kidz Banz are the best infant/toddler sunglasses out there
We started my little one with the Kidz Banz in the infant size when he was a newborn and got the toddler size when he got older. He is right on the edge between the two sizes (at 19 months, 95th percentile head); the infant is a bit small on the smallest setting and the toddler size is a bit big on the smallest. But that's okay, he will be in the bigger size in due course. The band is comfortable and adjustable and is far, far superior to sunglasses with arms. The sunglasses stay in place, and having put them on him starting when he was a newborn means that he mostly leaves them alone.Great glasses! We love them!

They stay on and are comfortable!
I have had previous generations of Baby Banz, and I feel like the quality if the band has gone down. However, since my previous ones have been long lost, I can't prove it. But I gave no complaints about these glasses. They protect well, stay on, and come in great kid-friendly colors. My kids are now 4, but this brand has fit well since age 2. Besides looking slightly like orthodontic headgear, I'm really happy with them. The only reason I don't give them 4 stars is because there's no protective case, bag, etc that comes with these glasses; I'm using the clear, flimsy plastic packaging as a sunglasses case.

Grandson not impressed.
These glasses are cute, but my 20 month grandson had no interest in wearing them and kept taking them off. They almost went swimming that's how annoyed he was with them. They seemed to be a bit large as the velcro strap stuck out when adjusted down to a suitable size and Cole is large for his age wearing a size 3T. I would recommend buying the smallest pair of these you can find and put them on your baby when first born to get him/her used to wearing things on their face at the earliest possible age. I like the molded plastic nose guard. The glasses seem durable and provide the perfect amount of protection without being too dark. If I had it to do over I would get a prettier color and buy them at birth.

Excellent!
My son is 17 months old but we had to get him the 2-5 age glasses to fit. Had purchased the baby ones previously but they were way too small.

Easy to use and no complaints from baby!
Babies and children must wear sunglasses to avoid problems in later life such as cataracts. My 5mo barely complained about these although they do leave terrible red marks around the edges. Easy to adjust and should last for a while.
