***** Please read the whole review as there are some issues with the frame*****A great little frame. The bone inlay is perfect. I like the boho look. I am hanging it on a wall along with a Spanish tiled mirror I've ordered. Both have inlay tile type looks, both have blue and white colors.This frame has a good size, large enough to grab attention, with a photo area in a popular size for a lot of home/family pictures. I'll be placing a photo of the sun setting off of a beach in Cuba.The frame is sturdy, has 2 good little movable clasps on the back along with 2 little metal stay in place clasps. the backing comes off by moving the 2 movable clasps to the side and sliding out the backing.Under these clasps the maker has rolled some tissue paper to take up some space between these 2 clasps and the backing to hold it tight when in use. I plan to remove the paper they have used and put my own paper in it's place.****While inspecting the frame I have uncovered an area of the retractable stand for desk display, that has a bit of mold. This may be the source of the musty/moldy smell that is present upon opening and unwrapping the frame. I am removing the arm as I am hanging the frame, not displaying on a table or desk.I also will be wiping down the whole frame with a disinfectant spray. The frame may have been in storage that was exposed to moisture (Ship maybe?) and does have a strong odor. I opened it, then left in on my screened in porch for 2 weeks. The smell has dissipated somewhat, but now with the closer inspection and seeing what area has been affected the most, by removing the arm...I think the smell will be totally gone.****The area's of the frame are as follows: The overall size is 9.5x7.5 inches.The opening on the back is 5x7 inches.The glass area on the front is 4.5x6.5 inches. the tile covers some of the glass when looking at the front.So if you use a 4x6 photo, you will need a mat.If you use a 5x7 photo, the tile on the front will cover 1/2" on each side.I really like the frame, so I am going to take the time to make it right to hang.Sadly, I cannot recommend it as a gift though, with the issues it has.

This is a very pretty frame with a wood colored MDF backing--see photos above. The opening is 5" x 7"--not 4" x 6".Unfortunately, the packaging smelled musty as I was opening it. The frame was wrapped in plastic so I hoped the odor would not be in the frame. I am sad to say it is. The frame smells and I don't know if it will subside. I asked my son to sniff the frame and he was not as put-off by it as I am. The frame is three feet from me and I can smell it. I am not one of those people who can't stand any kind of odor--no matter how small or how pleasant it is. I don't mind scents--but there is a limit. This frame is over that limit.I am very sorry that I can't give this attractive frame a better review.
