Two clips just does not work well (at least for me)
This is entirely my fault, I bought it too quickly not realizing that there even was such a thing as suspenders with only 2 attachment points. But there are, and this is. But even though I bought the wrong thing, I wanted to comment as I tried using it -- two points of attachment makes it really easy to attach, but horrible at comfortably supporting your pants. Unless they already have something like an elastic waist band, the waist band between the clips sags and looks and feels awful. The pants do not fall down (as in to the floor) of course, but it just doesn't work well. These do what they say they do, but... if you are expecting somehow equal effectiveness with more convenience - this isn't it.

These are what I've been needing
UPDATE:I've been wearing these, or trying to wear them for a few days now and find they rub me raw where the sizing Velcro rests on my skin. I'm careful to make sure no Velcro is showing but there is something rubbing me right at the bottom of my shoulder where my armpit starts and whee the Velcro fastens. I have tried taping both my body and the problem area of the strap but after a short time the tape will bunch up and leave sticky residue so that is not a fix. I believe it's because of my height and where the Velcro has to be fastened. if it were an inch or two higher or lower I don't think there would be a problem.. Unfortunately there is no adjustment on the lower part of the strap where I could accomplish this. I'm 6' 210I like the way they hold my pants so if I can figure out a way to fix them I'll just keep them. I was thinking of sewing the strap at my desired length just before the Velcro and then cutting the excess off. I might still have to remove the Velcro pad sewn on the other strap. just have to see.I'll update with any fixes I come up with.Original review:I can't comment on the durability or sturdiness as I've only had them for a few days but I Love them so far. I usually walk a couple miles and have to stop and pull my pants back up a half dozen times. Went on my walk today wearing the suspenders and didn't have to adjust my pants even once! They connect at the side so it's pretty easy to disconnect them when you've got to go, then re-connect them with relative ease. Like them so much I ordered another pair today.

No -buzz Under Suspenders Modified for Short Person
I had one problem. The location where the straps cross at the back is not adjustable. The sewn location may work for a taller person, but for me, at 5'-'7" tall, the sewn crossing pressed into the back sides of my neck. The solution was to remove the stitching where the straps cross. I now have to form the loops and hold the crossed straps together while I put the suspenders on, but the crossing settles naturally below the neck, where it is much more comfortable. The plastic clip design is close to perfect. I think they are easier to close than the metal kind. I know they are easier to release than the metal kind. You can easily find the tab by feel and release it quickly.I gave the five-star rating because of how well the suspenders perform after the change. I don't know how the manufacturer could do any better than to choose a location for the strap crossing and stitch it, because some people would have difficulty learning how to put the suspenders on without the sewn crossing. The way I put them on is to hold the suspenders in front of my face with the crossed straps in my left hand (the adjustable strap ends away from me and the non-adjustable ones close to me). I put the right arm through the right loop from the inside to outside, transfer the crossed straps to my right hand, put my left arm through the left loop, then lift the crossed region of the straps over my head and place it behind and just below my neck. Then I take hold of the clips and move them up and down to be sure the straps are reasonably settled before I connect them to my pants.Update: I decided to stitch the strap crossing. While the straps were positioned, my wife attached them with a safety pin. I then stitched them at the natural crossing location and angle. They are much easier to put on that way.I recently purchased some of the "trucker style" hip clip suspenders worn over the shirt. I prefer them to the under-ups because they are less stretchy than the under-ups. Since you can leave them attached to your pants and just slip them off or onto your shoulders, they are more convenient. Sometimes the under-ups clips, when released, will travel so far up under your shirt that they are hard to reach when it is time to reattach them.

WOW SO NOT ANYTHING LIKE DESCRIPTION
The straps (every thing but the 2 plastic clips) is a super soft super stretchy cheap cottonesque material. An ACE BANDAGE would be more durable and less stretchy. All that aside, like all versions of suspenders, you can adjust the length of each side.No clip, no sliding plastic or metal piece to fix the size you slide it to.THE ONLY THING HOLDING THE SIZE YOU want is a thin (not wide, but very narrow) short piece of white velcro. It isn't a strong enough to use to secure a photograph with no frame on a wall/verticle surface with any confidence.Anyway, it did hold today the day it arrived. But because the straps are SO SOFT AND UNBELIEVABLY STRETCHY, TIGHTENED TO SMALLEST/SHORTEST LENGTH OF STRAPS, WHEN CLIPS ATTACH TO PANTS OR WHATEVER THEY ARE MEANT TO HOLD UP, THERE IS ZERO DIFFERENCE IN HOW THE LENGTH IS TO HOLD ANY CLOTHING UP.I AM NOT A HATER OF MANY PRODUCTS. I JUST FIGURE OF THE FEW RETURNS I MAKE, I ATTRIBUTE IT TO MY EXPERIENCE AND HOW MY SITUATION AND NEEDS WASN'T FOR ME.THIS PRODUCT IS THE WORST ATTEMPT TO TRY ANY CALL OR IN ANY WAY IMPLY THEY SHARE ANY FUNCTIONING OF EVEN THE CHEAPEST LOW QUALITY "SUSPENDER"I AM MORE SHOCKED WITH HOW CHEATED BY THE DESCRIPTION BEING FOR A PRODUCT THAT IS DEFINITYLY NOT WHAT I ORDERED AND RECIEVED TODAY.ALL IS OK. WILL BE IN MY LOCAL UPS Store Monday returning it. Amazon Primes Return policy makes the annual membership fee worth it for situations so frustrating as this purchase.
