I bought this book for my philosophy of language class and this easy to understand book has been helpful. With the abundance of examples and effective explanation followed by exercise structure, you too can master the concepts on how speakers use language to do things.

いわゆる語用論において言葉の使い方の定義がされています。例文、例題が載っているので、分かりやすく作成されていると思いますが中には解釈し辛いものもあったかと思います。初心者であれば語用論辞典を片手に持っておくといいのではないでしょうか。

pragmaticsの練習問題みたいなものがのっていて、非常に楽しいです。たしかにこの言い方だとこういう意図が見えるな〜とか具体的にわかります。
