The case itself uses no software. It is just a case used to hold all of the hardware used in a pc build. The various windows OS's you asked about are to be installed after a pc is built. So, any OS could be used, it's just up to you (preference, price range, etc.).

Q: Where does the DVD drive come out?

The entire front panel opens up and the DVD drive is in there.

Q: need help i cant get the front leds to light up on this case every other light does tho,

If your talking about the 3 lines in the front of the case that sort of looks like a Y. They are built in and once you plug in the connector to power the lights should work. If they don't then the case is defective and you need to replace it. The only problem I had with the case for my daughter's PC was one of the temperature connections didn't work. But that didn't worry me. God Luck!
