I’m mentoring a kid on how to use a desktop computer and various programs. I didn’t like having to repeatedly get up and reach over her to point out a specific icon on the computer screen. Now, I just use the pointer. It’s quicker and more accurate than reaching in front of her and using my big hand to point at a small icon in a group of lots of icons, which the angle of my hand often covered up and made it difficult for her to see which icon I was pointing to. The pointer makes working with her so much easier from my chair instead of having to get up, reach around her, and say this one, or point to a specific icon/location in whatever program I’ve had her open. The handle fits well in the hand, the telescoping shaft is light and strong, and it’s well made; I think it will last a long time. For the price and ease to use, I do recommend it as a very useful teaching tool...

I ordered this telescopic pointer for teaching, and it’s exactly what I needed. It extends and retracts smoothly, feels sturdy in hand, and is super compact—easy to toss in a tote or desk drawer. It’s helped me literally get to the point during lessons without having to wave my arms around like I’m landing a plane. Great little tool for any classroom!

Nice product. Only issue is that the ball at the end comes out if pulled. It would be nice if it was permanently fixed to the wand.

It does what it does, point. Sturdy, thick, amazing.

The soft tip on this is great for pointing at someone's computer screen at work to avoid having to basically invade someone's personal space. I often use it while standing (briefly, just for the conversation) in my trainee's cube, but because of the satisfying length, more than once I've used it from my own desk which is neighboring hers.

This is a great pointer! It's light weight, extends to a great length but when not extended is small enough to fit almost anywhere. It's made of durable metal, and the handle is easy to hold onto. I bought it for a 101-year-old WWII veteran who lectures and has a map of Europe that he points out places of importance. He really likes this pointer and appreciates the protected point so it doesn't harm the map.

Got to use it for a power point presentation, worked perfectly.
