Black Cat Rat Trap

Live near a farm so wanted a trap that was good for fast rat dispatch. Read lots of varying reviews and this product cane out the best.It’s manufacture and build is superb. Dispatches rats quickly. Good value. Keep fingers well clear as has a very good snap.Had to contact seller as Royal Mail delivered to wrong address. Seller was/is very efficient/responsive and looked into the inaccurate delivery service, excellent customer service they sent out a replacement pack straight away.Thanks seller you don’t get this service very often. Makes all the difference to us as consumers.

Works perfectly, 4 rats caught quickly and no suffering like other traps I've used, just be careful of your fingers when setting the trap and always bait it with the kill bar down/unset!

2 Rats deceased in 2 nights..followed a YouTube experts advice and used licorice allsort with oats...leave trap unset for 2 nights for the Rats to get used to it then set it..bang one huge dead rat the next morning.....reset and replaced and another dead one this morning...sorry Rats... absolutely recommend this. Do the research on Rats before attempting and always wear gloves when handling the trap/bait etc

Caught a rat and a few mice so far. Took a while to get used to baiting the trap, make sure the bait once put on the hook/trigger is not touching the base (not as easy as it sounds). I found peanut butter chocolate is the best bait.Be careful of your fingers, this is a powerful trap.

This rat trap is lethal and instantaneous. We have battled a rat digging it’s way into the hen run and coop for a year now. Tried smaller basic traps, cage trap and other methods unsuccessfully. A ratter with terriers recommended this instead of using the dogs. We baited it with peanut butter with raisins rolled up in a tight ball placed under the lever. BANG! Got that rat the first night! Story isn’t over, we soon realized we had more than one!!!! Been using it successfully for a week now and have slayed 5 rats so far! We will continue to set it each night until we see no more signs of them. It is a dangerous trap so use with caution and place out at night away from pets and non target animals. It can kill and severely wound more than rats.

Works great! Unlike the smaller ones they ignore.. pushed a sweet onto the hook makes them pull it!

This mechanism is very poor quality it has failed after three attempts to set it. The catch at the top will not hold the arm to set it. Do not buy it.

Very hard to set. I wasn't strong enough to pull back and set. Partner got the job. Clean kill. So works
