Short
Not very long. More like a short story. All of these books could have been combined into 1 book but I guess they make more $$ like this.

I believe to be the best
I really enjoyed this one a lot. It probably has to be my favorite in the Four series, only because this one talks about meeting Tris and some events that happen in the Divergent book but now come to light. The tension he has with Eric, the struggle to admit his feelings for Tris, the struggle with the decision to tell Abnegation about the upcoming struggle; I mean there is so much that Four has to go through and that is why I enjoy reading about him overcoming his struggles, that I can relate to. The Four series was amazing and really cool to get into the mind of a different character from the Divergent series. I recommend this book for anyone who likes the Divergent book series, they will love the Four series. It will bring the world of Divergent into a whole new light, from the eye's of Four. Enjoy!

YES, YES, YES, YES.
Four: The Traitor is just one of the four short novels of this Divergent spin off series about the fascinating character of Four or Tobias. This short novel is written from the perspective of Four himself about his life while running parallel and entertwining with the Divergent novel plotline. While learning indepth details about the amazing character of Four along with new insights and aspects of the extraordinary world of Divergent and the frighteningly appealing fraction of Dauntless. Those that wanted more while reading the blooming romance between Four and Tris will enjoy that this short novel takes you through the romance again but this time from the view of Four's eyes with the reader getting the pleasure of finding out Four's thoughts and feelings giving a new understanding of his action. This story will also throw you through some hoops and leaving you with new eyes when looking at the Divergent series plot. Four gives us aspects about the Divergent story that go unknown to the readers of only the Divergent series but this aspects are important to story and some will even leave you shocked. WARNING: While this novel is a total MUST READ this novel along with the rest of the Four series should only be read AFTER reading the Divergent series or at the very least the first two novels. If not the reader will have a awfully sad soiler alert to the fabulous twists and turns of the Divergent series.

I wish these were longer!
I know these are novellas and are meant to be shorter, but I want more! More Four, more more, MORE! Still have to read Free Four but I'm thinking this is the blast novella? Will have to double check, but now I'm sad that this is the last book of the Divergent series. In don't want it to end and I'm mediocre about the rest of the movies. But anyway, well written, like the others. Longer which i like, more time to hear what Four feels, how he thinks, instead of just having Tris narrating from her opinion. Don't get me wrong, I love Tris, but sometimes, especially in the beginning and when Tour's involved, can become a little whiny (my review, don't yell at me I still love her) So finding out that he was just protecting her and not actually a jerk, is nice.

Great.
I enjoyed the last segment of this quad, probably more than the first three. The events tied in with the events of Divergent perfectly, and it was nice to see previously-read scenes from Four's perspective. In Divergent, Four came off as being quite cold toward Tris. It took a while before he started to ease up on her. In this last book, the reader learns there is much more to it. How, for instance, Four is struggling internally with his burgeoning feelings for Tris, yet feeling the all-too-familiar need for his privacy, and being unsure whom he can trust. In the end, I felt this was a very solid ending to Four's beginnings, and the perfect lead-up to Divergent.

Nature vs. Nurture
Are we a product of our upbringing or a product of our surroundings? This story really brings that question to the fore front. Is Four who he is because of his upbringing or because of what surrounds him? Or is Four who he is because it is a culmination of both pieces? Fighting the good fight and hoping to become the bigger, better person? I think Veronica Roth has done a great job with her short stories to give the reader a better understanding of Four. I think it helps the reader have a clearer understanding of who Four is before and after meeting Tris. I loved having the little insight she was able to give on Four.

If you liked Divergent, you will love Four!
I really enjoyed reading the Divergent story from Four's point of view. Roth does a nice job explaining what happened to Four in the past and what his thoughts are about Tris, with that story running parallel to Tris' story in Divergent. You also find out about more things that happened during the Divergent story time period that are not in the original book, things you would not have guessed, but that make sense now. Love that these are short stories, easy to quickly read through.

it ended
I didn't want it too end. It was too shortI'd still like to read the rest of the story from Four's perspective.

Must Read
****No spoilers contained in this review ***Tobias is a very complex character and it is great to be able to read from his point of view to see the motivations behind everything he does in Divergent. And honestly it's quite breathtaking to get a glimpse inside his mind at the turmoil and emotions he experiences. I know that fans of the series will absolutely enjoy this extra piece of the Divergent world.Warning: Be sure to at least read Divergent first before beginning this short story.Tip: After you have read The Traitor, have another read through Divergent. It is a mind opener, and I love having this new perspective of Four.
