Perfect for Plein air painters (painting outside).Artists and left handers solution
Oh my gosh, I have finally found a solution to/for Plein air painting! This lightweight table I carry in my rolling bag with my easel and art supplies to paint outside. It provides a solid surface for my palette, brushes, pencil, eraser and the cup holders for my water. I got the idea when I saw another painter with it. This is my first Amazon review. I’m writing it because what makes this really work- I can place it on the left side of my easel, most art supplies etc are made for right handed people, even camp chairs. I now have my water on left side, palette on left side. It is so versatile whether I am sitting or standing to paint. It also doubles as a cocktail table for camping. The cup holders are the best.

Great portable table for lightweight needs.
I originally bought this table because I needed to participate in video conferences while working from home and I don't have a desk or table that's at the right height. This table isn't quite tall enough for that as is, but I have a laptop cooling stand that adds another three inches and that puts the webcam in the right place for viewers not to be looking up my nose. I chose this table because it was the cheapest one that had a fast enough shipping option and had an adjustable height. (The height that's good for the camera is much too high for long stretches of typing, so I wanted something that I could raise and lower.)I've been using this table every day for the past week and I've been pleasantly surprised. I knew other reviewers had described it as lightweight, so I'd expected that it would also be just the littlest bit flimsy. For what it's meant to do and the weight of it, it's actually pretty sturdy. It's not up to handling body weight (don't lean on it) or even moderately-heavy equipment, but I'm not at all worried about my laptop and mouse. I don't know what the official maximum weight is for it. My laptop and everything that I put on it is in the area of 7 pounds. I would REALLY hesitate to add more than maybe 15-20 pounds. Would I eat my dinner on it like it's a TV tray? Yes. Would I put my heavy printer on it or lean my upper body on it while writing? NO.The legs took a little practice to get the hang of. They telescope by twisting each of the three sections. The bottom, smallest section that comes in contact with the floor has numbered lines to help when you're not using it at full height so that you set them evenly and the table isn't tilted or wobbly. The tops of the largest section that slots into the table itself have little twisty round bits. If you rotate them, you'll see that the round bits increase the tension in the socket as you twist them so that the legs stay firmly attached. You need to put the legs in at a slight angle. They don't go straight from the table down to the ground, they go down in a way that the feet are farther apart on the floor than the tops of the legs in the table. It makes it more sturdy and also gives you just a little bit more leg room. The top surface was a pleasant surprise. It's a lightly textured plastic so it's not slick on the fingers, and it's a small enough texture not to interfere with writing. The bottom of the table slides off to reveal well-designed storage for the legs and accessories. After you attach the legs, the bottom panel is slid onto the top of the table. There are three different slots that will hold it at different lengths extended out from the desk so that you have a convenient area for using a mouse. I wouldn't set anything heavy on the extended tray; it's really obviously meant for lightweight things like computer mice. Heavier things like a laptop need to sit on the 13 inch wide main portion above the legs.It comes with accessories that I personally don't need. There's a can-holder that's exactly large enough to hold a standard 12oz can of soda (not fat water bottles). The cell phone holder will probably accept even large cell phones with slim cases (like the gel ones that don't cover the screen). I don't use it because mine has a flip-cover case that makes it too thick for the slot. If I take the phone out of the case, it fits in the foam-padded slot of the holder just fine. The last accessory is a folding document-support arm. It's a pole that sticks straight up with a section that swings out to horizontal and there are two mini binder clips for attaching papers to the horizontal arm. I don't need to transcribe papers or display signs, so I haven't used it. All of the accessories seem to attach reasonably well to the table for the weight they're meant to hold.Because I don't use the accessories, I found that it was best to remove them entirely. When the legs are attached, there's nothing holding the accessories in except some reasonably good foam. I found that they tended to fall out after around half an hour of typing. It was less distracting to just put them in a drawer and not bring them.Once you get practiced, assembly takes less than a minute. When it's disassembled, it would fit into a bigger laptop bag with the laptop. For students, it's about the size of a large textbook, although it's not heavy like a textbook.

Nice for travel!!
Expecting to attend a conference where I won't have a table. This is compact enough to pack in suitcase get big enough to put my laptop on. One leg is a little harder to pull out than the others but I'm keeping the table. I wish the legs came out easier. You have to pull hard and in some cases kind of twist it to extend the legs. Cup holder is a little challenging to assemble but it works. I think I will have to pull out all accessories though when table is in use cause I think may fall out...even though there is a thick foam around the pieces.

Great on-the-go table!
Great product, and great customer service! I’ve had the product for several months, and it works perfectly for my needs. It’s small enough to fit into my work “go bag” and sets up quickly and easily. I normally work from home, but there are times I need to work elsewhere (normally in tight quarters), and this little table is just what I need to be as efficient as possible when away from home. I’m able to fit my laptop with external monitor extenders, plus mouse on the table (using the table top extenders.). At the end of the day, I break it all down and back in my bag it goes!

Great portable table desk workstation
Recently, I had to work from home and various locations. I was looking for something that would setup relatively quickly and sturdy enough to put a heavy laptop on it and maybe some food, and maybe at home a laptop and some books. To be honest, I was thrown off by the look and some negative reviews, but to my surprise, this thing doesn't look bad in person and it's really sturdy.I've only had this a few days but so far it checks off all the boxes in a good way.It has a cup holder, a phone holder, and a paper notes holder. Right now I'm using it to write this review on a laptop. The cup holder is sturdy, it accomodates a can size cup, or you can lip up the top to put in a cup with a small base and a wide top. It's sturdy. I put in a large bk cup and it help up fine to my surprised. Didn't budge at all.The phone holder is a very tough foam with a slot in the middle, which can hold up to a 6.5 inch smart phone. You can plug in a charger cable from underneath. I am tempted to add a 10000mAH portable battery charger on the bottle and route a cable through the bottom to charge the phone. The paper holder is very simple, but yet very effective and that's all I need. The clip is solid, tough and strong for it's intended purpose. You can use it alone or attach it to the cup holder. Either way seemed to work fine for me.The whole package is small enough to fit in a big bookbag. I have a standard hershel bag and it fits in there but it takes up a lot of room so plan to travel light or get a bigger bag to carry this all in. I got the hershel duffle bag to fit everything in and it seems to work good too so might use that going forward.Everything fits underneath the table in it's own slot that is padded with foam. The legs go into the table, but please note, it doesn't go in at a straight angle, like 90 degrees, the legs go in at a slight angle which help with stability. The legs have rubber fit so it doesn't slide around and keeps the floor save from scratches, etc. The legs are some kind of light aluminum so don't expect to put an extreme load on the table but it can definitely hold a laptop and some books with ease. super adjustable legs in height. you can change the height so you can use it on the bed, any chair seating position , let's see going from the couch to the kitchen to the bed. You can adjust it however is best. The top of the table is plastic, but it's a hard tough plastic. The piece that covers the bottom slots, attaches to become a longer table. You can leave it off if you want but I attach it every time to use the extra space on top.Overall very pleased. sturdy table. stiff and strong. I find it hard to find fault in it for what it is. It works well, it's light to carry, so you won't break your back and you will have accessories and spots for all your needs. The ONLY thing i worry about is how well the foam will hold up over time which only time will tell but other then that, it's a very sturdy table at a great price. Recommended.Uses: portable, eating food at the park, working at the park, moving around the house, breakfast in bed, work in a packed library, sit out of car trunk, field work, coffee shop standing desk, sporting events, beach events, etc. etc.
