Good product, sturdy and easy to use.
These tree rings worked great, during the hot weather this summer. Kept my trees alive.

Just what I needed for starter shrubs
Definitely a great option to keep soil moist after planting new shrubs. The water does leave the tubes quickly but that depends on how dry the soil is and if you've had rain. They area I just planted is extremely dry so I anticipated having to fill up the tubes at least twice a week.

Reliable and Practical
As a retired dairy farmer, I appreciate efficient watering systems. These 20-gallon bags are great! I purchased two and they've transformed my tree care routine, saving considerable time compared to hand watering. The slow-release system works perfectly on level ground, though they don't empty fully on slopes. Minor considerations: the fill opening can soften in hot weather, requiring gentle reshaping, and the brown color fades quickly in sun. Occasional clogging happens but easily resolves with hose back-flushing. The filler cap lacks a check valve, so water can spill when uncapped, but this is manageable. Great value for the price and performance delivered. Would definitely purchase again - highly recommended for anyone serious about proper tree establishment

BEWARE: These Didn't Even Last Five Months. WHAT A RIPOFF.
BE WARNED: These "Watering Rings" split at the seams and are absolute JUNK. We usually buy "ArborRain"-made tree irrigation watering bags. These looked so similar and the price was better, too. At first, the bags seemed to do the job. They weren't even placed in full sun, so the fact that the bags fell apart had nothing to do with any type of extended sun/heat exposure. (ArborRain bags last YEARS before they start to deteriorate.) My housemate does all the gardening. We bought these pieces of junk irrigation bags November 2019. Here it is mid-May 2020. We didn't even put the bags out until January, because we had got some good rains here and so the bags weren't needed right away. Now seams on BOTH BAGS went kablooey and that's that.-------------------- WHAT A RIPOFF.

NOT a round flat Tree Gator
Great because it has a low profile. That's the end of my positive comments. It's... okay., but faded in the sun after a few days. It's hard to fill. It's fragile. It seems as if the seams will split easily if care not taken care of and will surely be the eventual failure point. Feels puncture prone, though... so far so good. IMPORTANT NOTE: does NOT drain around the entire lower surface.... not a bunch of tiny perforations on the lower surface. It has only two (2) drain valves that are bulky and are in the middle (not the edge) and you end up with the bags only draining partially (~80%)... ESPECIALLY if it's on a mounded (even a little) tree. If I could give 2.5 starts I would.

Works well
I was skeptic of buying these. They are better than the tall green water bags. Fits perfectly on young trees/saplings. Hold 20 gallons of water. Slow water release over several hours. Ease to set up and use. I m into the first month so I ll have to update on its durability after some time

great for trees with close-to-ground canopies
It appears the manufacturer has fixed the problem with the size of the inflation hole--it's plenty big to fit a standard hose. The material is also durable; good quality and construction. Because few terrains are even, I suggest putting the inflation hole at the top of an incline so gravity pulls the water toward the two release valves at the side at the same rate. Bag will need to be massaged to release the water that collects at the bottom, but on even surfaces, the water release lasted about a day.

Real Time Saver
I am surprised that this only has 3.9 stars overall. I gave it five stars and would give it even a sixth star if I could. These are just as described. They do hold 20 gallons of water, but I am sure I am not filling them all the way. There is a hole to put in a stake or something to keep it from blowing away, but it does not come with that particular stake or stick. I have not had a problem with them blowing away, but I imagine they could in very strong winds if they are empty. These are a game changer for us because we bought 16 of them and it saves us more than one hour of watering by hand. I highly recommend these, and I would buy them again.
