Colour Name:Ivory When Fifty Shades Darker was being filmed in Vancouver, the last item to check off on Ana's costume list was the masquerade mask, and for Costume designer Shay Cunliffe the search for it was "quite a journey." The wardrobe department originally created several custom masks for the character, but "they proved to be uncomfortable and overwhelming when worn." So, naturally, they turned to for help. "I started searching online for alternatives, selecting options in laser cut metals, crystals and laces," she said. "Then I tried on all the options myself and eliminated those which were not comfortable enough to spend a long day shooting in. It was immediately clear that the lace mask we used in the film, which was purchased online from Samantha Peach in the UK via , worked very well on all counts." After adding Swarowski crystals to it, they bought many more to get them through production.The mask ended up being the image used in all the promotion for the film , being used on the tie in movie edition of the book, the soundtrack cover and blasted across the screens at the Superbowl when Taylor Swift sangUniversal Films collaborated with Samantha Peach to provide thousands of the mask for the Movie premieres across 50 countriesSamantha Peach was also asked to supply the silver mask for the limited edition Fifty Shades Darker DVD , and a year later was approached again to make the gold and black version for the final Fifty Shades Trilogy Opus boxset For true Fifty fans there is only one name that came with them on the whole rollercoaster ride, make sure the mask you buy is the right one

Perfect product
I bought this for a masked ball. It arrived promptly, and carefully packed. It fits nicely on my face and I can see clearly through the eye holes. The ribbons tie fairly easily at the back of the head and my hair can come down over the top of them. It looks very pretty and it's worth the price.

I bought this to decorate myself as I couldn't find a mask with just the right design/colours that I want. The pattern allows for symmetrical decoration. I added gems and outlined the mask and eyes in silver. The product has a very strong distinct smell (glue) to it so order a few days before you need to wear it in order to air it. I do think it's a bit pricey as its plain. I suppose you could argue that it's a very intricate design hence the price.

Perfict fit, quality mask
I spent ages looking at reviews to find the perfect mask. Stop right here. This is elegant sturdy material, looks sexy and fits around the eyes well. I have yet to wear it properly on new years eve for my mascarade ball but looking forward to it.

Grey not silver, basic overpriced mask
Very disappointing mask given I paid £14.99 for it. It looks like a table doily sprayed Grey, not silver, very unflattering. The mask is almost completely flat so you have to tie it tight, not a good look

Very pretty mask but didn’t fit my head greatly and the ribbon was quite hard to tie up at the back without falling down my head due to the fabric. Ended up only wearing it for a short amount of time.

Classic piece
Beautiful piece that is soft and perfectly adapts itself to your face. it’s comfortable to wear as it’s thin and so you won’t get hot underneath. Great value for money and i will for sure wear it again!

Schöne Maske. Für den Preis TOP. Wirkt viel edler als gedacht. passt für mich auch genau. Einzig die Bänder, ich hoffe sie halten.

Ich finde diese Maske sehr schön, sie ist angenehm zu tragen und sieht sehr hochwertig aus. Die Chiffon-Bänder passen sehr gut zur Maske und halten die Maske sehr gut.Ich kann sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Great mask for the price. Not actual lace.
The mask is literally an embroidery so describing it as lace would give users the impression that it’s soft. This mask is not soft if you ever felt an embroidery appliqué (patch) that’s what it feels like it’s stiff flat and gives the appearance of lace. It’s very comfortable on the face and is super cute. All the details in the stitching make it appear more expensive. It’s a tie on mask. Great quality mask for a decent $6 price.
