Great stuff. Keeps guns clean
Works great, if it's your first time using the stuff just know it has a very recognizable smell and you may want to wear latex gloves to keep it out of your hands. Otherwise, you will smell it on your hands, and taste it on your fingers for a few days.

my first time purchasing hoppe's 9, i like the product the only thing is i live in an apartment so the chemicals left a nasty taste in the back of my throat, and it left a smell in your nasal passage if you can please use this product outside. it left my guns clean, and bone dry I'm used to using a CLP but since I've used hoppe's 9 it's definitely better to strip the gun oil from your firearm and apply a fresh layer of gun oil. You can use CLP, but your guns will never be fully clean without a gun solvent. CLPs are best suited for you when you want to do a quick clean wipe down or what we call a mickey mouse job in our home, no doubt a CLP will get the job done but there's nothing like getting your gun back down to bare metal.

The scent of the product was a bit strong for my preference, but it performs exactly as intended. It effectively removed all powder residue, and the cleaning results were impressive. Given the price, the bottle size is reasonable, and I can definitely see myself purchasing it again in the future.
