Car Battery Jump Starter, AUTOGEN 4500A Lithium Box (All Gas and 10.0L Diesel Engine), Auto Booster Pack, Portable Charger Pack with 12V DC Output EVA Case

When I received this 4000 Watt starting device, I had high hopes for it. I had bought one with 400 watts of starting power that would not start my lawn tractor. So needless to say I really had high hopes for this one. Guess what? Those high hopes were totally fulfilled! I have an old Cadillac that had been sitting around for several months and was dead than a hammer. My wife and I went out with this Autogen to see if we could get the Cadillac to start. Well, did it ever start! I was so surprised and how fast the starter turnd the motor. The car started as soon as the gasoline got to the carburetor.I would advise anybody who wants to get one of these to purchase the Autogen 4000 Watt Car Jumper. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with it. Along with each other uses this is certainly a 5-star item.

It has plenty of power, however I have a double battery F250 diesel and it requires two of these jumper batteries to provide sufficient power to start the motor. I learned that last week when I left my truck lights on during the day. One jumper battery couldn't do it, so I had to get someone with a jumper cable to hook to the second truck battery and it started then. I now have two jumper batteries in my truck for emergencies.

Used starter very lightly over several years but it exploded and burned the last time I used it. It was destroyed and I am lucky it did not destroy my truck.

The autogen 4000 is a great jump starter it works wonderfully. About the performance of you equipment I have nothing but good things to say it has never failed me it charges phones that flashlight works great and the day after I I received my auto gen the alternator went out on my Volkswagen diesel. Every time I need to start it, it starts better than a car's actual battery. I only have one bad thing to say the cage is made from crap, the handle fell off and wants to handle fell off the zipper fell apart and now I have no zipper and no handle this is the only thing I have to complain about with my jump starter.

I had a bad batch of batteries on my classic cars and this unit cranked them all over better than I had heard in years. 350 Chevy, 454 Chevy, MG18GB and still had 80% left. I will have the opportunity to use this on some heavy duty trucks later this year. Can't wait.

This item worked when received however will not charge after a few uses. I have tried to find warranty information however no information is available. Amazon is always great to replace faulty items however it is out of that time frame but is under warranty but do not know how to find contact info.

I had reviewed all the brands and kept coming back to this one based on their quality, use of heavy duty cables and copper connectors, available "boost" mode, good warranty, and price point per KW/mAH. I actually ordered it off their website simply because they had a sale and free shipping that was much less than here. They shipped in one day with overnight delivery - wow. But, now I noticed they have passed that along to this site. Their cables are certainly a larger gauge conductor than other brands and the connectors were solid copper. When you need a jump, you want it to work and should not be dependent on cables and connectors that may reduce the voltage and power transfer. Boost mode was important, as quite often when modern batteries fail, they tend to drop in voltage well below the threshold of a model without a boost mode. Regarding the small light, I only needed enough light to see what I'm doing under the hood, as I carry flashlights for other purposes. So, this light fit my needs. I also noticed other reviews were concerned about the outdated micro USB port for charging the battery pack. My order came with an updated USB-C port for that, so they obviously have upgraded and simply not gotten to update all their marketing material. I did find the users manual was useful, written Ok, but not perfect English. You can register the product and extend your warranty to 18 months, which was nice. The batteries arrived at about 75% charge, which is correct for long term storage, meaning they do pay attention to detail. Although not stated nor expected, it came with a 2A wall plug charger as well. The case was also very nice, heavy duty, nice rubberized handle. So, overall I think it is well made, should perform well, and hopefully the company will be around for a while.
