Leather Slim Briefcase, Black, 16 Inch

I got this for my MacBook Pro 16", and iPad pro 10" with keyboard. It holds both easily, along with a stack of documents. This replaced my CaseLogic leather laptop case that I bought circa 1995, and which finally broke after 30 years of use. CaseLogic no longer makes such a case, so I looked at other brands. This Samsonite is slimmer and more elegant than the CaselLogic it is replacing, and as I am trying to be more organized and keeping more documents "electronic only", it fits the bill. It also has a backstrap for sliding onto rolling luggage, something the old CaseLogic case did not have. This is helpful when I'm going to court with my roll-around documents suitcase. If I have any reservations, I wish there were more dividers in the main portion. The front pocket is a little tight for me, but I carry a lot of extra chargers and cables--and energy bars. Upshot: Good case, well made, recommend.

This briefcase is really good looking and classic styling. It has a leather interior pocket and a side pocket in the main pocket as well. It also has an outside pocket good for pens and the likes. The only downside I could think of it’s the size it’s slightly on the smaller side. You could fit your laptop in there with some papers and folders but not too much of anything else. It is a really good quality genuine leather that holds up nicely ( I only have it for three months with daily use). It comes with a strap but it’s definitely not the most comfortable one I’ve come across. Overall it’sa good daily case if you like it being on the slim side which it’s definitely a good look.

I saw this "Briefcase" in a department store and I liked it, except that the price was nearly twice the price on this website, so I ordered one on here. overall it is exactly what I needed, a cross between a briefcase, lunch bag and an accessory. I have had it now for a month, and it seems to perform the job(s) rather well. 1. Accessory : I ditched the strap, I just carry it with my right hand, I let it oscillate just as much as my empty hand would. The handles allow a soft yet firm grip, and it looks great. 2.Launch bag: I carry two sealed mugs with me to the office everyday, one for water and one for coffee, in addition to a sandwich and a small bag of fruits or nuts, they all fit in there with no issues at all 3. Briefcase : I would say that the word "Briefcase" is rather an over statement, in addition to my lunch , I have enough room for the pens/pencils/ phone charger--- few notebooks and a 10" tablet, adding a laptop would be stretching it a little, so if I add a the laptop I usually lose the tablet....

Just wanted to share that I bought this despite some of the more questionable reviews, and I'm extremely happy that I did. I wanted a laptop briefcase that wouldn't break the bank that wasn't too bulky, but wasn't so thin that you couldn't put anything else in it. This bag is perfect - you can put a charger and cord in it without the bag buldging at all, along with one or two full sized notepads. The leather maybe isn't the world's best quality, but it's significantly better than the backpack-like material of bags similar to this that aren't made of leather. This bag looks much more professional than those fabric laptop cases, and I found the width to be perfect. I've had the bag for 4 months and have had no wear and tear so far.

I just bought a new of these after owning this same briefcase for over 5 years. It looked good for at least 3 to 5 years. The only reason I replaced it was because the leather at seam (the vertical seam in the middle front area) was pealing off and so it looked worn out. Given I used it for 5+ years, I decided to buy another one of the same kind. So that in itself is an endorsement of the product. I will say that a true 100% leather product should not peal the way it did (hence the 4 stars). So I don't think it's 100% leather (I would guess that this is bonded leather). Having said that, the briefcase started to peal (in the front area) because I overfilled the smaller pouch in front causing it to stretch and resulted in the pealing after a few years of use (and I never did anything to maintain it - other than keep it clean). Then again for $100 bucks this is a good product. It looks like real leather and had no failures / tears - except for the afore mentioned pealing after the material was stretched for a while.

Amazing product. Good leather quality , supplied in a box to prevent damage by rain or snow. It’s good for fitting a laptop but make sure the laptop is not above 14 inch screen size . Nice and compact , amazing look with an overcoat . Gets great compliments

Es ist unglaublich wie elegant, stabil und professionell diese Tasche in diesem Preissegment hier angeboten wird. Ich kann mich nur bedanken. Das ist die beste Laptoptasche die ich bisher hatte im kompakt Bereich. Zwar passt in diese Tasche nicht so viel rein wie in meiner alten Kunststofftasche, jedoch muss man Kompromisse machen. Ich kann definitiv damit leben da ich mitnichten die wesentlichen Arbeitsmaterialien mitnehme zum Kundentermin. Definitive Kaufempfehlung. Greift zu solange das Angebot da ist.

I use this for business to carry my laptop and papers. The briefcase is ideal for business and can be attached to your pullalong. The quality is as one would expect when bearing the name Samsonite embossed into the high quality leather. Buy with total confidence
