I absolutely love the Eagle 5 Gallon Red Safety Gas Can! I’ve used plenty of plastic gas cans in the past, but none of them compare to this one. The build quality is top-notch – it feels solid and durable, and it’s much more stable than the plastic containers I’ve had before. I’ve noticed that it doesn’t flip over in the back of my truck, even when I’m driving on rough roads, which is a huge bonus. The spout that comes with it is fantastic – it’s easy to use, and the design makes pouring a breeze with no spills or mess. Overall, this gas can is a game-changer. It’s worth every penny for anyone who needs a reliable, high-quality fuel container. Highly recommend it!

Been using this for about 3 months or so since I ordered it. It’s been so nice to have. I haven’t had a gas can I liked, or didn’t actually hate, for 20 years now. This is the way to go and worth every penny. Vent free and gas flows freely. Cap and opening ring seem very solid. Does not leak out or tip over when hauling. Only thing I dislike is removing the funnel every time I take it to the pumps. However, the funnel is so nice to have when filling a mower, I suppose it’s a good trade off. I do wish there was a separate (metal) fill cap/vent. It would be perfect then. However, it would probably be prohibited under today’s silly gas can restrictions.

I don't know why it is so hard to find a gas canister that doesn't leak. I have tried so many of the plastic ones and finally gave up on them. This one is great! it is sturdy, doesn't leak when it is in the car, or when I am pouring it. The handle to pull the lid open is plastic, and we were worried it wouldn't hold up. But we've had this for several years now, and it works great.

Very well made, works great. I really recommend it for safety. My plastic contains always leaked, swelled with warmth and built up pressure. When something seems like it will last forever, why not spend a few bucks and be safe too.

I should give this a one star review because most people read the one star reviews, me included. So I read all of the one star reviews and other than shipping issues nothing seems to be true. I wanted to replace my plastic gas tanks for a while and I bought the 5 gallon size and the 2 1/2 gallon size bought arrived in great shape ( our Amazon drivers in my area are the best and they treat the packages as their own). I had no problem filling them up at the gas station ( I watched some of the videos) some people had issues filling them up because of the spring cap but once pulled back and the nozzle is inserted everything went well. I was able to fill my lawn mower with ease. I was so happy that I purchased two more 5 gallon cans (we have a generator in case of bad weather) So no more plastic gas cans. I highly recommend. FYI I do not work for Eagle or Amazon or I'm I an influencer I receive no money from this review. I'm just an old man that wants the best for my hard earned money.

Just gave ask my other gas cans away. I will never use any other can. Once you figure out getting the funnel on and off (just twist a little instead of straight pull) the ease of these is just AMAZING. had this one 2 days and went ordered the red one. I'm a 53 yr old woman and these are just a hundred times better than those "safety" cans. I've knocked it over, it fell off the back of my truck and almost ran it over with tractor. Not one drop spilled it. They get hot in the sun (left out by accident) and when i opened it, no spray or rush off fumes. 10 out of 10, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
