Amazing and captivating storyline
I absolutely loved this series when I was in highschool and I am so excited even as an adult to reread them again. Finding this bundle was just a fun find and I can't wait to read them. This story is exciting with all the twists and turns you will be on the edge of your seat. Not to mention every reader girls first book boyfriend *swooning eyes* Dimitri. This series was and always will be incredible.

I Always Avoided This Book Series, And Now I Know What I Was Missing!
Different things always had me looking at this book series and going "Nah!". I kept passing on it and reading other fantasy and vampire stuff, because I was under the impression these books were going to be silly and immature. Mostly it was the trailer I watched on youtube to the movie that bombed about this series that turned me off the most. It looked really stupid. After reading the books I believe the movie and its trailer are horrible representations of these books and its characters. It's a movie I'll never watch. I finally bought the book series, because the price was good for the box set, the high star ratings, and the fact I love vampire themed books. I read each book back to back. The world author Richelle Mead created is well thought out and the plots in each book are well woven. I guess there's also a t.v. series that was recently made for these books that also was done bad for different reasons. From what I read both the movie and the t.v. series don't follow the books, and the characters aren't really the characters from the books either. I know the True Blood t.v. series didn't exactly follow the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampires book series, especially the more it went on, but I admit I found it a little entertaining. Anyway, the books in both series are better and different. I recommend both book series. The Vampire Academy book series is well written (even better written than the Sookie Stackhouse series, which I love) and I'll read Vampire Academy again. I'm a forty something year old women and I really enjoyed these books and I'm sad I avoided this series for so many years.

Roza Roza- oh how I never thought that this name could be so romantic!
Ok, so I saw the movie- horrible- but for some reason I love it and knew the book was bound to be good. The book, of course, is far superior to the movie. I decided to just bite the bullet and buy all of them in one go as I knew I would not be able to stop. I read all 6 probably within a week as I could not put my tablet down. They did this horrible thing by putting them all together because it reads like one giant book that you are nowhere near finishing until you hit the last one. It was great at keeping your attention and the action was constant. I will say it is one of those slightly predictable books and it was quite similar to The Mortal Instruments in retrospect, but definitely worth reading on it's own. I loved both series separately and would reccommend reading this one if you have already read that one. If you are looking for funny, sometimes serious, and devastatingly romantic book definitely go for this! Just fair warning- you will fall in love with Dimitri and a few others that I shan't say without ruining the series!

Got better and better, masterful platting and pacing.
I was a little late to the show when it came the Vampire Academy Series, I purchased a box set and spread out the Rose and Dimitri goodness for about a year. I have to admit that it was the film adaptation that inspired me to pick up this collection of books. The tongue-in-cheek witty one liners and kick-ass heroine had me sold instantly. The film didn’t get that much praise, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the silliness and mythology of the world, though it was easy to see where it failed. There is so much information in every book in this series, that the movie could not include it all in order to help drive the plot forward. I also did not get the chemistry from the couple on screen that I did in the novels. Richelle Mead is a master of plot. The novels just kept getting better the further I got into the series. My favourite being ‘Blood Promise.’ What starts as a typical smart-mouthed teen, Rose really develops into a selfless warrior. I did want a little more from the end of the series though; there were many questions I did not get answers to, but I’m wondering if it will get explored further in the Bloodlines series. An attractive boxed set that gave me many, many hours of fun entertainment and solidified Rose as one of my favourite heroines. Glad to have it in my library collection.

Watch the TV show before ya read!
Omg!!.. I watched this on Peacock. It's a TV show for 1 season. I was upset to find out it's not going to be renewed. Sad because the TV show it awesome!!.. when i saw that the show had books, I had to buy them. I'm glad I watched the TV show first because it puts a face to a name when you read the books. These books are great!!.. This is a must read!!.. but watched the TV show on Peacock 1st before ya read this.
