I bought the 40ft cable and use it for 4k blu-ray, and it works flawlessly. I had tried two other passive HDMI cables (copper type) of 30ft and 40th, and neither of them worked, even with a 4k repeater, despite advertising 4k. So from my experience, long cables must be fiber optic to work with 4k.Interestingly, at least one of the fiber optic cable descriptions said to not connect it to your A/V receiver, but that's how I have it connected and it's fine. My setup is an LG UBK90, Yamaha RX-V683BL, and JVC NX5.Not sure on longevity as I just got it, but so far, so good.

Did not work as advertised. 25ft version could not maintain a signal at 4K 60hz with HDR on or off. Screen would randomly go blank for a few seconds. At 30hz it works, so it may work for those who only plan to play 24fps movies at 24hz. No hope for gaming at 60hz. Both original order and replacement orders were like this.

I used these with an NVidia video card and two Asus 4k HDMI monitors. Both of the monitors started exhibiting behaviors such as blacking out, fading in and out, lines dancing on the screen, etc. Replaced the cables, and all of that stopped. Maybe I got bad cables? Maybe these don't support my setup? Maybe they are just garbage?

I use this connect my AV receiver to my 4K project over 20ft to get 150" screen size. It looks great

Cable doesn't work at all. TV keeps saying "no signal" for any device I hook up with it. However, other cables I have work.

Great price, only for 60hz output TV's ONLY

Excellent price for a fiber optic hdmi cable. Came with end 'bags' to make any wall pulls less likely to snag.Everything about the cable seems solid, but be aware the ends are a bit longer than ordinary hdmi.
