Rhode Island Novelty CHILD SIZE FIREMAN HAT

I purchased these for the children to wear at my husbands 70th surprise birthday party when it came time to light the candles. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of them for the price paid for twelve of them. The kids loved them and they looked great. While not the more durable kind, they were well made and none of the stickers were misplaced. Our Grandchildren each left with them filled with goodies as their own take home treats. I would definitely recommend these as a party enhancer.

Perfectly ideal for a party. These are flimsy & thin, but exactly what you would expect for a party hat. For the price, great buy. I would just insure you have a few extra incase they would dent or break. I wouldn't use as a take home gift, but during party works well.

My daughter had a Paw Patrol party and these were great party favors for the kids. They fit a little bit smaller than the construction hats, which was a little disappointing. But they still worked for most of the toddlers at the party. My only complaint is that the stickers on the front have a huge 'Made in China' writing on the front. I ended up printing out Paw Patrol logos on sticker paper and covering them up but it would have been nice if that wasn't on there or if the stickers on there were able to be removed easily. They are a very thin plastic so don't expect long term use or huge durability with these. But if you get them for a decent price they are way more fun than the typical paper party hats.

We got these for the kids at our son's 4th birthday to wear to the fire station. They were perfect. These are very thin and won't stand up to repeated play. But that wasn't why we bought them. The kids were happy and none of them broke during the party.

I ordered these thinking they were the same plastic hats kids get at the firehouse or school events. I ordered them for my son's birthday which will be at the firehouse. I was surprised to see how flimsy and cheap they are! They are much thinner than the others. I am almost embarrassed to give them to anyone...even as a party hat. The party is just a few days away, so I have to keep them. Just be forewarned if you are looking at these. These are NOT the same ones you see elsewhere. It would take maybe 4 of these hats put together to be as sturdy as the others!

Some other people complained that these hats were too flimsy but I am not sure what kind of high quality they were expecting for party hats. I mean, they're for a children's birthday party, so they're not supposed to last forever. They were perfect for my son's 2-yr birthday party. Several of the kids wore the hats the entire party, even with the chin straps on. I had no problems with the quality of the hats - they lasted through the party and then the kids all took them home. As far as I'm concerned that's all you need!

Every year at our non-profit Storytime, the local Firefighters come to talk to the kids and then let them climb up & sit in the seat of a Fire truck. We always give out a hat like these to each of the kids before the Firefighters arrive. This is the first year I have ordered these from Amazon. They are similar to others I've ordered for Storytime. They are quite thin, but work for the short-term. The more careful a child is the longer they will last, but most preschoolers only have them a day or two, but that's long enough to have their pic taken while sitting in the fire engine and long enough to do some follow-up role playing. Some companies I ordered from in the past have a simple elastic strap to fit under the chin & hold the hat on. As Fire Prevention & Safety Week is always in October & it can be quite windy, I appreciate that feature. These did not have that or I would've given a higher rating. Overall, these hats served their purpose and were affordable for our Non-Profit Literacy Organization.

I got these hats for my son's 1st birthday. They were a lot of fun and went along perfectly with the fire fighter theme. They are sturdy enough for the kids to take them off, throw them down, step on them (by accident for the most part) and yet still pop back into shape. I also loved that the size is great for the little ones and older kids too. With the hats being plastic, I was a little concerned that they would have a smell to them, but no bad odors were detected. I got a great picture with the birthday boy and all the other kids wearing their hats and its one that I will be displaying at home as soon as I get a chance to have it printed.
