AVANTEK Doorbell Mini Add-on Plug-in Receiver, Black

It just works. Excellent distance between button and receiver. I really thought I would need to re-wire. Only recommendation in design for the button is have adhesive less exposed to the rain, it can come off with heavy rain with strong winds.

Excellent product that works exactly as intended. We live in a townhouse so the family room is upstairs. Our doorbell worked occasionally and most deliveries came to our back door which didn't have a bell. This meant we missed most parcels.Enter this AVANTEK setup. Two bells with adhesive pads and one receiver. Receiver is loud and small, set to a normal bell as default and the pairing process took seconds.I got what I wanted and I am delighted. Colour is also pleasant on my grey UPVC doors. Can't comment on battery life as it's just been installed, but it really was so easy to setup and use.

Works fine, but be aware if buying in UK, it's wide. If plugging into a double socket, it partially covers the second socket making that socket unusable. If you have lots of sockets it might not be an issue. I've previously had a similar door bell which was narrower, enabling the use of second socket.

The media could not be loaded. I love this... I have disabilities and going up and down the stairs just to tell the kids it's dinner time or that they are wanted was a nightmare. Especially considering most of the time they have TVs and gaming headsets on. They both have a receiver each and can change the ring tones in their own bedrooms. The volume is also adjustable. The receiver flashes as a bonus extra to get their attention. Brilliant quality device.

The media could not be loaded. This Add On Receiver is a perfect size. I bought it at the same time as the Wireless Doorbell Set. It was easy to set up. Would certainly recommend this little add on.

Absolutely wonderful easy to fit and lots of rings to choose from

With so many makes/types to choose from it was difficult to narrow this purchase down. My main requirement was 2 transmitters (bell push) and 2 plug in receivers. I could find this option so settled for 2 transmitters and 1 receiver. I then ordered an additional receiver separately, hoping they would all talk to each other. They arrived in 2 separate deliveries. Both arrived promptly in neat packaging, though there were no instructions with the separate receiver. The installation instructions were OK but the instructions for Transmitter battery installation were poor. Trying to insert the metal key to remove the back cover of one of the transmitter was extremely difficult. I though the plastic was going crack before before it would open. Finally the cover did open. Looking at the battery compartment, I noticed what appeared to be a metal cover over the battery. I assumed you had to remove this cover to release the battery when in fact you slide the battery out from underneath the cover. Pairing the receivers and transmitters was straight forward though I was dubious the the receiver I purchased separately would actually be paired. All worked fine. Volume was very good (I'm hard of hearing). I also tried one receiver in my garden shed and it worked fine. It takes a lot to impress me but these did a very good job. Would recommend.

Perfect for elderly and the hard of hearing, great functionality with so many different chimes to choose from with a good battery light, the doorbell stuck to the door frame effortlessly with the adhesive pad but can also be attached with screws
