1lb Plain Gelatin Powder (Beef)

Bought this beef gelatin for making desserts and aspic. I’ve been using it for several weeks now. Pros: • Dissolves quickly in hot water, no lumps. • No smell or off-taste, dishes come out clean in flavor. • Convenient packaging, seals tightly, keeps well. • Suitable for both sweet dishes (jelly, gummies) and savory dishes. Personal experience: I made berry jelly and meat aspic with it – both set perfectly, with a firm, springy texture, clear and not cloudy. Conclusion: Excellent gelatin for home cooking experiments. Great for anyone who enjoys making natural desserts and appetizers without unnecessary additives.

What can I say? It works like all the other beef gelatins I had been purchasing in 5 lb increments for many years and without any downside. I purchased Custom Collagen's products after reading the reviews and because theirs are more reasonably priced than the better-known gelatin-related product sold here. I was not disappointed in any sense. Whatever has made beef gelatin in general so expensive over the past few years that it's now sold in 4 lb bulk increments for roughly the same price eludes me but it was enough to make me stop drinking it for a good-source-of-animal-protein-minus-the-fat snack. FYI beef gelatin will serve as a complete protein as long as one eats another complete protein during the same day. Custom Collagen Beef Gelatin had no unpleasant odor like a batch I purchased elsewhere. It worked well to gel one-half gallon of almond milk although I was aiming for almond milk yogurt instead of gelatin—I'm honing my technique using a space blanket as an incubator. I can't speak for it as a drink since I've just started using their hydrolyzed product for that purpose. But this works well for "cooking purposes" so to speak and I would recommend it.

This shipment arrived very Promptly & in Great Shipping Condition. We have a little Pom Dog that has a Collapsed Trachea Problem - I was looking for product to help his health. Have used this only couple times as just received - but it disappears into his food when I mix and he is a picky eater - he does not seem to know I am Mixing in a product that I hope will be beneficial to his health. Time will tell. Thank you for this product. Reading the info on the Label - I know it has many other wonderful benefits - I will be adding for pie thickening.

I buy grass-fed gelatin and add it to my coffee along with cocoa butter and a pinch of salt. I have used it for gummies and desserts a few times as well. This product seems to be fine. I can not give it 5 stars because the manufacturer does not provide information about pesticide and herbicide residue. I have recently read that herbicide is contaminating gelatin. Thanks big ag and Round-Up for yet another safe food issue. :[

After my baby girl gave birth to four beautiful puppies, she Had difficulty walking so I bought this product to give it a shot within three days. She was back to normal running around happy as can be. I highly recommend this product. It truly helps in so many ways.

I use this to make my homemade (Instant Pot) Yogurt and it is wonderful. It dissolves completely and adds no taste. When I made my homemade marshmallows, they came out perfectly and there was less smell than when I used Knox. If you use a fair amount of gelatin, it so much easier to measure it out using bulk gelatin (not packets) and this is a quality brand to choose.

OMG This stuff is amazing. Ive been putting it in everything right down to my tea and coffee. I've been on the biggest gummy making kick . Absolutely so easy to do after several times. No more fussy molds and eyedroppers. I just rip open a box of jello mix a good tablespoon right into the package pour i to a 1\2 cup of boiling water bring back to boiling point and pour into coconut oiled ice cube trays. I can fit 2 boxes into 1 ice cube tray. I just throw them into the freezer for a half an hour and boom they are good to go

Very good so far. Excellent packaging and very good tamper resistant packaging two thumbs up. I just used it for the first time in my coffee and no taste, smell or lumps. I'm looking forward to making lots of yummy recipes with this gelatin. I will definitely buy again. And it was early too. 👍👍
