Q: Are there hook kits available for this considering the deck is plywood?

Q: Can this system be hung from a pitched ceiling? We need the shelf to be level, but the supports will be at different extended lengths. Will this work?

I am in no way certified to give advice on something as serious as this would be . just a homeowner that has always done all my own projects . Just a few things to keep in mind while considering- WHEN MOUNTED PROPERLY , this is a very sturdy and stout shelf that easily handles it's weight rating and then some. The integrity of the shelf IS in the mounting. The amount of weight you plan on loading and the pitch of the ceiling along with the ceiling's structural ability to carry the additional load without sagging . You may not be planning on a lot of weight initially but it all adds up after you see how handy it is to store on. If you are not sure of what to do seek the advice of a friend experienced in this type of project so you can bring more ideas to the table . Mine is mounted to the ceiling in my basement work shop (attached to the bottom of 16" floor trusses on 19.2" centers) and it is loaded over capacity I'm sure. In my opinion the only way to hang this rack is level because of the way the pieces fit together , so that leads to having to frame out a structure on your ceiling that be attached strong enough and be stout enough to let you hang the rack level. Q: I would like to use wire mesh instead of plywood. where can i get the mesh decking? i have looked and don’t see it being sold. any links or advice?

Amazon sells the kits with the wire decking included. Much cheaper than buying separately. Search Monster Rax on Amazon, they start around $160 WITH wire decking.

It is 2 4'x4' units. The 24-45" is how far it can hang down
