I bought these in 2015. It's almost 2019 and I was thinking of ordering another batch. I only use these for kitchen towels. They're too big for a bathroom/face towel. I clean them with heavy bleach with each laundry wash. They have been durable and kept their quality since. I was browsing tonight and saw cheaper batches available but I realized I could just search for the ones from the last purchase to (hopefully) buy the same quality that I recieved a few years ago--also that I *know* they would be the same size as the ones I currently have and my neurotic a$$ wont be annoyed that they're not exactly the same folded up neatly in the drawer. To me it's worth the money. When I cook/spill strong colored foods (indian curries/tomato based soups/etc.) they tend to stain and never really come out. But I dont care too much because it's infreqent and it's just for around the kitchen. This new order would allow me to part ways with the ones too stained to keep for the kitchen.

These towels arrive thin, but do fluff up after the initial wash. Fair quality for the price, they are not plush, but more industrial/general use. Note the name: "Basic" Cotton Hand Towels. That's what you get. At about $1.50 each, they're practically disposable.I purchased for using at the gym. I sweat a LOT. The small towels at the gym get soaked pretty quickly when doing heavy cardio, so I bring my own--standard issue bath hand towels, but plush, so I get 40 minutes or so before saturation. These towels are a little bigger and go a little longer than your standard gym towel, but give me only 20-30 minutes before saturation, which just isn't enough. Perfectly fine for those who sweat lightly/moderately, I have to bite the bullet and snag some plush hand towels when I find a good sale. Should have snagged that set in Warehouse Deals last week!So no go for me at the gym. And no for a long outdoor run. I probably would not have bought had I known they wouldn't work as I needed, but I can use them in my home gym (weights/abs), for spare hand towels, as kitchen dishtowels, keep a couple in the car, etc....

I wouldn't recommend these towels for hands or face because they are a little thin and slightly rough. But, that's not what I use them for.I use these inexpensive towels to clean. Wash my car. Polish furniture. Dry my stainless kitchen sink after cleaning. Wipe down washing machine and dryer. And just general cleaning. Then I throw them in the washer and keep reusing them several times until they ware out.I'm sure that's not what they were intended for or why people would buy them, but that's how I use them and it works.

They aren't the best, but they are far ab8ve the worst. I knew they wouldn't be premium quality, but I am impressed that they are as good as they are. They aren't those scratchy, cheap, non-absorbing junk towels you find in a dollar store.

I needed modest towels, cost effective to use to help deal with massive sweat when gardening and other activities during spring summer and fall. We have relatively warm weather. These towels fit the bill. They also are abrasive enough to get garden dust/dirt off of me when wiping off sweat. So far they wash up - great - so far dirt leaves - these come out of the wash white. With washes they are getting fuller. There is a small amount of expected shrinkage. I have only had these basic cotton towels a short amount of time - half have been washed twice - and they are fluffier than those only washed once. These are not fancy - or delicate, but perfect for playing in the dirt as a gardener. Very pleased with these cost effective towels.

Doesn’t have a fluffy feel to them. Thin and wears down after washing a bit. A couple have unraveled in the wash. I used them for burp rags for our infant. They did the job but I could use them for a dish towel or to wash with. Very rough not soft at all. The amazon basics washcloths I got are fluffy and soft so I was surprised these weren’t.

This is the 3rd time I've ordered these same towels. I use them in the bathroom as hand towels, & in the kitchen. They are nice & thick & easy to bleach when stained. I usually buy 2-12 packs once a year.
