The Berenstain Bears Go to Sunday School (Berenstain Bears/Living Lights: A Faith Story) Paperback – Picture Book, September 28, 2008

I loved these books when I was a little girl and was so happy to introduce them to my daughter now as she is learning to read and is learning basic manners. I love the inclusion of bible verses and about basic manners and kindness that everyone should show regardless of age. This book was a great way to describe what Sunday School is and what to expect from Sunday School to my four year old. I love how very down to earth the cubs are, easily relatable to a normal perfectly imperfect child ;). They do a great job of storytelling of explaining how kids would feel in this situation and they do a fantastic job of teaching a lesson to young children.The Berenstein Bears are once again a part of my library. Thank you for keeping up the standard of excellence in these books :) .

My grandson loves the Bernstein Bears! He recently started Sunday School himself. This book helped him to see his favorite characters also are a part of God's Kingdom. It helps him to share his love of learning about God with others. I love the fact that his author writes with Christian values.

I recommend this book for all kids so they can be encouraged to atten church and learn what Jesus is all about. They will also make new friends and have good support that they may not receive at home unfortunately. Praise God for these books!

A little wordy for my 2.5 yr old granddaughter, but she'll grow in to it. She's learning who the Berenstain Bears are.

My 6 year old said "I like this book and you will too!" I would agree. It has a great story line for kids about how busy life can be but hoe important church is. My daughter is still singing the song.

My daughter is a big fan of The Berenstain Bear books. We have a large selection...and counting. She asked to get this book and we were thrilled to buy it for her. Great message about faith.

Love this story of a family who sees the value of attending church together even though they have a busy schedule.
