roro Wood Square End-Grain Chef Cutting Board and Block, 14 Inch Acacia Square

I was pleasantly surprised when l received this Acacia cutting board. It's beautiful, sturdy, end grain, smooth, multi-purpose and fair priced. There was no visible glue. They are individually hand crafted so mine was a little different than the picture shown. Mine has sguare edges instead of the rounded, and the rectangle blocks are lined up instead of the zigzag brick design. But it doesnt matter, the pattern is still so beautiful and l hope to have it for years to come. I also bought the butcher block oil/wax conditioner they suggest to keep it in good condition.

This cutting board stays on the centre of my counter. It's always commented on by any of my visitors who like cooking. They can't resist running a hand over it.It's easy to use as it stays in place. Last night I cracked open a coconut on it with a hammer..Just a wipe with a damp cloth and it looks new again. Knife marks are still visible but shallow, you can't feel them so they only add to the beauty of the surface with time. Knowing that bacteria can't live in or on the wood is a bonus.I gave one to a friend who used it for a few days then threw out all her plastic cutting boards.My compliments to the designer.

I was looking for a chopping block for a while before finding this product. The square pattern is lovely and overall product is good quality. The item arrived in perfect condition and size is as expected.The only negative point is that there is no grip on either side so the block moves slightly when you are chopping. It's not unusable but slightly inconvenient at times.I have been using it for cutting fruits and vegetables mostly. Cleaning is easy. I wash with regular dish soap.

Fantastic board.

The cutting board was packed very wisely, and was protected by large bubble wrap "air bags". It appeared very intact and attractive. I enjoyed the recommendations on care provided on the wrap and insert. It now sits prominently on top of my kitchen cabinets as a decorative piece over-looking the kitchen (as I intended).

As far as the look, size and functionality this is exactly what I was looking for. All this and the price is so nice. I bought mineral spirits as well to keep it preserved and still didn't break 50 bucks. Got a new knife set as well and already have been cutting and couldn't be happier. Thanks!

The board arrived with cracks and discoloration. Texture of the board is inconsistent. Some noticeable ridges between wood pieces.

Really happy with this purchase. Great value. And nice to look at.
