The IEMs that changed my mind
Ever since I got my first portable music player, I've hated IEMs. They were uncomfortable, constantly felt like they were going to fall out of my ears, and turned every movement into a booming or scraping sound inside my head. Even as I got older and graduated to more reputable headphones, I wouldn't touch IEMs, no matter how highly rated they were. But I saw these recommended everywhere, as as they were so cheap, I decided to take a chance on them. And it was these sub-$30 buds that finally convinced me of how great IEMs can be.First of all, the sound quality is on par with my main headphones, the original AirPods. I wouldn't say they sound better than those, and the sound signature is quite different, with these having more bass and a rich sound that comes from having the drivers closer to your ears. But the fact that the sound is on the same level for about a sixth of the price is insane. No, it's not ~the best~ sound you can buy — and I'm not an audiophile — but it's definitely among the best you can buy at this price.Even more shocking to me was how well they fit. They really match the natural ear shape in a way that makes a huge difference. Now, I wasn't a big fan of the original silicon tips; they were okay, but felt a little loose sometimes (and my ears are different shapes, which doesn't help). That problem was quickly solved by the acquisition of some memory foam tips, which are inexpensive and easy to find here on Amazon. These are the first IEMs that I can wear for hours at a time without my ears starting to hurt (which usually happens in less than an hour with the other ones I've tried). And better fit means better noise isolation. I think "cancelation" is an inaccurate term because it implies that there's some active process going on, and these of course don't have ANC, but they block out a lot of surrounding noise. If I have music playing through them, I basically can't hear anything else going on around me.Now...these are cabled IEMs. That's probably the sticking point for many people, and indeed, being shackled to my phone felt like a big step backwards after years of wireless earphones. But you have a multitude of options at your disposal to fix that. Get a Bluetooth reciever if you want. Or remove the ZSN Pro's cable, which is swappable and non-proprietary, and replace it with a Bluetooth one for about $20. Or spend a little more and get adapters that turn them into true wireless earphones. Considering that Bluetooth earphones at this price don't come anywhere close to the ZSNs in sound quality, I'd say that it's worth a little investment. No, they're not perfect. No, they're not nearly as convenient as AirPods. But something humble and inexpensive managed to change the mind of this IEM hater, and for that reason, they're worth a listen. You don't have much to lose.

Amazing IEMs!
I am definitely no audiophile, but I do enjoy good audio. I can't pick up on little things here and there. But these are amazing. I have been tired of wearing headphones for a while now. These are great and comfortable. I have always had issues with earbuds being shoved into my ears, they are always super uncomfortable for me. But these do not rely on that to stay in your ears, so they are so much better for me. I am definitely going to look into buying some better ones, later on, these were supposed to just be a test to see if I even could wear them. The answer is absolutely and I am excited to really get into IEMs. I would recommend a DAC along with them though, as you may get some hissing depending on the device. The hiss you get is quiet, at least for my setup. But it is still there. With stuff playing, you don't hear it. In a dead silent room though you absolutely will. Get these, pick up the New Bee ear tips as well, and get a DAC if you can. I am going to look into getting a Fiio K3 at some point, as that was recommended to me. That should resolve the hiss and give cleaner audio. For what they are, in the given price range, and the quality is amazing. A huge leap for me and I am incredibly happy with my purchase without any doubt. If they do fail or something happens, I will update this review accordingly. For first impressions though, I am blown away by the quality to price.Update:I was having some issues with these. They sound great, but the treble is incredibly harsh to me. After days of research, I found that treble sensitivity is a normal thing when it comes to the audio world. If that is the case for you, I would recommend looking at other IEMs. I cannot knock them for anything though as this isn't an issue with the product, it's with me. The product has turned out to be not too great of a fit for me, but that is okay. They are still amazing sounding for the value.
