Amazing.
I bought this thing back in August as I was getting ready to head off to college, and knew that I'd need something with mobility and power to suit my needs, both on and off the virtual battlefield. The FANGBOOK EVO HFX7-400 is an amazing laptop. It has the power to handle even the most demanding of games (for instance, I play ArmA 3 on Ultra on this beast) and still keep relatively cool while doing it (though I recommend buying a laptop cooler - just to be safe). It also comes with all the necessities to keep connected with your friends. A 720p webcam, a microphone, 5 USB ports, an HDMI port, and the Killer Network adapters will all keep you connected, even on the move, to your family and friends. The laptop starts up in seconds thanks to the SSD, and never has any performance hiccups, even when displaying in full 1080p. The sound quality is great from the stock speakers, so much so that I found it irrelevant to even have desktop speakers on my desk. However, all of this good didn't come without some bad. When I first got my laptop, I went through the standard process of setting it up. I received a drivers disk with the package, and an obviously opened (and already installed) Windows 8.1 disk. I didn't think anything of this until later. After installing the drivers, I restarted the PC with the full intention of playing games on it throughout the night to relax - but it never did boot up again. It came to a screeching halt just before the log-in screen. All it displayed was a black screen and my mouse cursor whenever I bothered to move it - but never did anything other than that. After hours of work, I finally managed to hard restart it into the Windows start up menu, restore Windows to the point before /any/ of the drivers were installed - and it booted up fine. After that, it was more hours of work in downloading and installing all the correct drivers. I didn't have anymore trouble after I did it myself. This problem more than likely originated from either a bad driver on that disk, or they were all outdated. My hypothesis is that each and every one of those drivers were meant for Windows 8, and since 8.1 had come pre-installed on this particular model, things went haywire. Basically, if you are thinking of buying this laptop, and once you received it you see that 8.1 and not 8 is installed already - do not use the driver disk you receive. Do not put yourself through that heartache. Just download all of the drivers you need from the internet. I used the disk menu as reference to see everything it updated, and just did it myself. Other than that hiccup in the beginning, this PC has had no problems - and I don't foresee it having any, thanks to my laptop cooler, and it's innate ability to diffuse heat itself. If you are looking for a good laptop at a nice price - this is the one for you. Just be sure to follow my advice.

Excellent Laptop.
Excellent gaming laptop. I have three Cyberpower computers. I love them all. I did have a problem with one. I contacted the company, they issued me an immediate RMA number and I sent it in for service. They replaced the motherboard at no cost to me in a timely manner. I bought this one off Amazon because it met my needs and I could get it overnight with Amazon's excellent fast delivery. This one had Windows 8 which I upgraded to 8.1 with no problem.

Very well built, excellent performance
Couldn't be happier. The build quality is excellent, no problem so far, no overheating issue or anything of the sort. Runs all recent games on ultra setting 1080p without a hitch.

Nice gaming laptop but why no camera?
I've only had my new Fangbook 1 day so it is a little early to give much of a review. My only disappointment so far is that this model from Amazon does not include a webcam. If you look at the close-up above the display, it looks like it might have one but it doesn't. Even my cheap little Toshiba had a decent camera built-in. Other than that, you can feel the heat on your lap when gaming but that would be expected. I got myself the "Blue LED 10-Inch to 17-Inch Laptop Notebook Cooling Cooler Stand Pad" ( B0089V3WDO The laptop came very well packaged. A box within a box with spacing, within another box with spacing.
