It mixes the water and oil much easier than whisking or shaking a regular bottle. The agitator does the trick. It also remains closed until you press the white button, so there is no mess. It also has measuring lines printed on the side, so you can measure right into the bottle.

This is a great idea and it works well. Good olive oil, good balsamic vinegar and a little bit of spice and you have super salad dressing that can sit on the table for a week. It takes a little bit of work to wash out the container. My only complaint is that there is a little cap on top that pops off too easily and sooner or later will get lost. I would prefer some other arrangement. Strictly speaking, the cap isn't necessary since the bottle is sealed until you press the white button. But it will be unsightly without the cap and the residual dressing in the spout will get crustier, quicker.

Looks great, the mixed ball is good too. The spout is very narrow so you cannot use with any dressing that has onion or spice pieces.

Avoid purchase for mixing Italian salad dressing. The spices will not come through the nozzle. This device is too fushy to figure out pouring salad dressing and has too many parts to clean. For peats sake how hard should it be to mix salad dressing? This device is no longer in my kitchen. Looks cute but not practical.

Why can't anyone make an effective dressing shaker that doesn't fall apart or create a huge greasy mess with every use? The rubber ball mechanism on this product hastens the emulsification of your ingredients and makes for delicious dressing. But the cap is difficult to clean and it started falling apart after a dozen or so uses. Still, it's one of the better shakers out there.

Can leak a little bit I consider it worth it. I just put a little bit of a napkin or towel over the cover while I shake it up. I like having my dressing all in one without spices and mixes cluttering up my work space in the kitchen.

It operates as advertised, but it will not pour if you have any solids in tit, such as seeds or erbs. We still use, but mostly without the green top portion. If you take that off, you will find underneath it a cap with a larger hole with the stire stick attached.

the thicker salad dressings don't pour out very well. It has to be very thin to work well.
