So brilliant!
My toddler who has sensory issue has with this aid, been able to physically relax and breathe. One of the first traits indicative of ASD that I noticed in him was his lack of spatial awareness and general clumsiness. This has been amazing in helping my son be more aware of his body movements and particularly of his arms and legs.Whilst he doesn’t ‘typically stim’, he often thrashes his head back and forth when frustrated, usually hurting himself or someone else accidentally, this allows him to stretch out and push through his frustration, resulting in less tears and less bumps and bruises. He is also a climber and his need for sensory input has had me on my nerves knowing how easily he hurts himself. After just a few days, he has been winding down by climbing into his body sock, to roll around, to play with his toys, to relax in bed, to get cosy, amongst other things. The material is completely breathable and he can see through it providing him comfort and me peace of mind knowing he is safe.Nothing we have tried previously has been helpful in regulating his emotions, but this genuinely has made a difference. Whilst he still doesn’t understand me telling him to calm down or breathe, this is a physical aid in helping him do so. I can’t wait to see the long term progress with my toddler using this as it really has made a difference to our day to day life already.

Great item, but might not be suitable for your child... Be prepared
I don't even know if it is worthwhile to review this item given I have only provided 3 stars, but you need to be aware that it might not do the job.My daughter suffers from sensory processing disorder. So basically anything can trigger a "fight or flight" emotion from wearing socks to how tight her hairband needs to be to just the air she breathes. In those moments, there is no action we can take to calm her.But after reading all the positive reviews, and personal recommendations, we thought this item could help her for when she has "angry" thoughts, she can get into the sack and vent out.Unfortunately, the sack proved to do the opposite and would just insight more anger. She could not understand it's purpose and therefore could not accept the sack.Thankfully we were able to return it without any trouble and live another day to find another aid for my daughter.

An OK product.
An ok buy for my Autistic son.The main drawback is the velcro fastening. It catches on the viscose fabric and pulls it, leaving huge marks that run and may result in tears.Such a shame as is otherwise a great product.Snaps would have been better.

Excellent product
Sorry no pics available at present...my 6 year old grandson loves his blanket, bought it for him for his bday recently. To summarise, his sensory needs are just beginning to be understood by family, school and friends - he’s on the spectrum, lost his dad last year, is struggling with that as well. My daughter and I agree this is perfect for him, he feels secure inside it and so far enjoys snuggling and stretching on the sofa, also like to wear in bed apparently! He also wore it in the car on the way home the minute he tried it on. Excellent product for those children with sensory needs. So far very pleased. E book is a total asset. Recommend for children with autism.

Amazing product and superb customer service!
We absolutely love the Body Sock! My daughter, who has autism, has not been out of it since it arrived. She has thoroughly loved the sensory aspects of the blanket. Although I know from her cousins who have also enjoyed playing in it, it is perfect for all children who like a quiet cubby hole, not just children with special needs. We had a minor issue shortly after receiving the item and the customer service was superb! They made us feel like our daughters well being was paramount and quickly resolved the problem. We were most impressed with their efficency and customer care. I can whole heartedly recommend this product and this company!

Fantastic therapeutic product
I would like to say big thank you for this product. I work with spectrum autism boy and had a few sessions using Busy Blanket. Great quality and colour which helps with sensory therapy. E-book gives a lot of ideas of how to use the Blanket. This produkt kept my pupil fully engaged, and happy playing. He enjoyed taking a challenge walking, kicking and stretching while wearing the Blanket. His hyperactive body has slowed down and relaxed. Surprisingly he was able to concentrate on educational tasks after Busy Blanket session. Brilliant product. As a teacher I highly recommend it and I am saying big thank you to the seller for taking part in making lives of children who develop differently, better.

Effective but colour runs.
My son has sensory issues and loves this bag. He doesn't want to come out of it a lot of the time. The main problem is that the fabric isn't colourfast and it has stained some of his clothes and even the patch of carpet he was stretching on.

Material made him sweat and was so big.
I’m not best pleased with this but perhaps some of it is the misleading size. In order for it to help with sensory issues there needs to be a small about of tension so your child can recognise the strength of their movement and also let out what they need to. I have a tall 4 year old and it drowns him. The Velcro pulls at the fabric and within a few uses holes have started to appear. So the idea behind this is great but it’s not designed to take the physical activity of a sensory over stimulated child. I have to say in top of this, the fabric is very very cheap and it makes him sweat within minutes. For a child to be able to stretch it as the picture shows I’d expect them to be 6/7 years old. Some tweaks and it could be great but really as it is it was a waste of money. Much better off with a stretch band and hoop. Shame, this really is a great idea it’s just not executed well at all. But hopefully they will develop it further and maybe in a year or so have it perfected. 6/7 yr old may find it really useful though.
